Audio entry 2-
Sorry, I ran out of time for that audio message. So, continuing⌠I paused for a moment and rose up. âWait a minute~ WHO- WHERE ARE YOU? SHOW YOURSELF!â I yelled, whirling around again like before, looking for the voiceâs identity. I was starting to think it was all in my head. Perhaps maybe the bump from the rock mustâve made me start hearing things. Then I heard the voice from before laugh softly again, this time I realized it was coming from the tree.
I looked up, and well, surprise, surprise. Shaymin. âWh-Who w-what, and how????â I pointed towards the flower garden and up the tree, confused on how Shaymin got up the tree without my noticing, âY-you were just. A-And I totally wasnât looking inside your sketchbook! T-Totally not-â
Shaymin dropped down with her sketchbook in hand, she laughed softly again, âYouâre really bad at protecting things you know, yes?â
âDonât make fun of me! You-â I was about to call her something, except I didnât know exactly what I would call her.
âYouâre a really whiny kid too. Hm?â she added.
âStop calling me a kid, gay-face!â I retorted, pointing at her face.
âNow, I wonder who taught you to be such a hurtful soul~â
âTHATâS IT. IâM GONNA-W-â
I was at Shayminâs head level now, clearly, she had just picked me up by the back of my hoodie, âAh, What was it you were going to do~?â
âStahp taunting me! I will rip you apart!â I reached my hands out, attempting to rip out her hair.
âCalm down kid. It seems like you really got hit in the head.â Shaymin sighed. She put the exhausted me down. I was so tired I completely forgot how to stay awake.
I woke up sometime later, feeling slightly better, but still disoriented. âSo now youâre awake, yes?â Shaymin of course, I could tell we were still in the garden because of the refreshing smell of flowers and the never-ending soothing sound of the wind. I could also hear a faint sound of a pencil softly running over paper, Shaymin was drawing. âHow long have I been knocked out?â I asked.
âRelax. You havenât been knocked out. You simply just fell asleep for an hour.â Shaymin replied.
I brought myself up, âWas I drunk? What the hell happened?â
âYou donât remember? Well then.. You hit your head on a rock, and then went all over; from calling me a gay-face to trying to rip my head apart.â She explained, with no details whatsoever.
âWhat~? I donât remember doing that.â I said, confused at whatever I just heard.
âHmm, You donât say~â Shayminâs eyes were focused on her sketchbook, she didnât raise her head up once to look in my direction.
âWhat was that drawing, I had seen before?â I asked, after remember a certain something.
âSo you do remember something. Well, Iâm afraid I canât answer your question.â Shaymin replied, still refraining from lifting her gaze.
I snatched her book after fully regaining some my conscience, âWhat do you mean you canât answer my question?â I flipped through the pages, and pulled out the one I had seen previously, âI asked you a question, you gon have to answer! Why are you drawing such a dark, depressing portrait of yourself, when every time youâre actually being such a smiley jock who doesnât show any sad emotions?!â
âEh? Youâre questioning an obvious portrait? I donât understand why youâre so angry about it.â she looked confused, I was thinking she was trying to deny something though.
âThis didnât draw itself you know!â I waited for an answer, itâs not that I was mad, I was really confused why she would make such a thing. Then I realized my stupidity. Shaymin wasnât wearing the outfit she was wearing previously. Her dark blue coat and cool blue scarf that she was wearing some time ago lie folded neatly beside her. She was now wearing a white, short-sleeved t-shirt. But that wasnât what she meant by âobvious.â It was the cloth bandages covering her arms and neck that pointed out the âobviousâ. Iâm pretty sure her torso was also covered in them as well. âOh⌠I-Iâm sorry.â I said dumbly, closing the book and handing it over to her.
âYou might be wondering how it happened.â Shaymin asked, her tone was softer than usual.
I nodded slowly, knowing I had brought up a painful memory of Shayminâs.
âA fight⌠Happened two years ago⌠Hospitalized me for a month.â She said slowly, I caught her smile almost begin fading away, then she brought it back, âIt seemed, someone whom I had considered a friend, wasnât actually a friend. A fake, just wanted me broken.â She added after a long silence. I was surprised of how she still managed to smile after remembering such an event.
âBut you could have fought back. Youâre so, um, big!â Â I blurted out, then mentally face-palmed for not keeping my mouth shut.
âI donât think fighting back would have worked against a group of 7 now, would it?â Shaymin replied.
(SEVEN?!) I thought, my jaw wide open, (So it wasnât just 1 person?)
âHmm, I donât remember much of anything else that day. I only remember being surrounded by a group of people, and then I blacked out. Then I woke up in hospital a few days later.â
âHow did you survive such terrible wounds? You should have died! I-I mean not that I would wish it, but I mean it isnât possible to survive such terrible stabs and cuts. You shouldâve either died of blood loss over the days you were stranded in that area, or- or-â Along with these questions I asked many others out of my own curiosity, it was stupid to be bringing up such horrifying past events of others and going too deep into them, but I wanted to know Shayminâs story by detail. Sadly, I didnât get any details at all.
âI donât really remember anything, though.. Itâs all hazy.â That was Shayminâs disappointing answer to all of my questions. I could tell she was lying; she looked away from me and brought her hand up, clasping her chin. Then she hid her other hand behind her back, the way one does when theyâre trying to hide something. I pretended to believe her words, and later, we both parted are ways. I mentally promised myself I would find out what she was hiding eventually. I recorded this to remind myself when I try to figure everything out, thatâs what audio messages are for I guess. To actually come out alive after being deeply stabbed several times is pretty suspicious. So, Iâm going to look into it later. This is about it for todayâs recording session. [click]
~Damn Koi, chill.
