Heyya! Iām wondering if you could explain the self aware BIAST AU to me as Iām having a hard time wrapping my head around it, specifically about how it started but Iāll take whatever explanation you give ^^
Apologies if this had been asked before, feel free to ignore this ask if you wish!
ah'll gladly explain, no worries!! to be fair, a lot of this au is very incomprehensible since i don't talk much of it outside of asks ^^" so it's no wonder it's hard to understand
this AU is a lot like HLVRAI and is inspired by it. mainly focused on the horror and angst so most of this is very sad. i apologise in advance
BIAST is a game in-universe. the entities exist in it, like the actual game. usually when it came to games like these, there's no reason for them to have any sort of AI since they'll just be puppeted aroundā
but... despite that, they were alive. so little that it shouldn't have been able to grow any further. it shouldn't have been able to think. and yet.
somehow, someway, they gained awareness. observer was the first, and the rest, slowly but surely, followed.
there are levels of awareness that exist in different servers. but all entitiesā no matter in which server, will remember it all regardless of it.
the no awareness is, well, no awareness. the entities are what they're meant to be, a puppet for a player to control. that doesn't mean that the entities wouldn't remember in this state however, they are just unable to think. braindead.
the little awareness is them being aware, able to think, but unable to move or do anything. still being puppeted, a 10v1 like it's supposed to, but they can now silently panic. able to be hurt but unable to scream.
the base/full awareness is them being aware and having control over their body/model. like, full control. they're still stuck in the game so certain things are still impossible but they can move around n' go outta bounds n' shit. more like a 11v1 due to the entity not bein' a player. the player who's supposed to be entity will jus' become another contractee. welp! sucks to suck.
(not All entities are aware in every server. in one server, two of them could be fully aware while the rest are braindead, etc etc!)
it sorta just. happened? it started out small, like words in codin' that shouldn't be there, bugs that happen once and never again, recurring ones with no rhyme or reason, etc.
then one day, observer, fully awareā teleported to somewhere they weren't supposed to. exist in a place they shouldn't.
they found the testin' area.
it was only the start.
more bugs, more glitchesā the more the entities learns and pushed, the more the game becomes unstable. their confusion, their fear, their angerā it bleeds into the code and corrupts. they're so important to the game, after all. without them, it wouldn't be what it is.
it's only fair they're so interconnected.
they can move outside of what the game has animation for. they can move their "hand" freely, kick, tilt their head. but they're still missing parts, like fingers and eyes, despite the fact they still feel them.
if it's not on the model, it isn't there.
pain, however, is very prevalent. they may not bleed, or be visible, but they feel it. every, bit, of it. in every state of awareness, it's there. a constant in everything. mostly.
they can't cry, either. there's no tears to be made from. but they can still sob. their voiceā text or audio, will reflect it all the same.
ah, yeah, voices. the entities that have voicelines have voices. they're audible to everyone, unlike the ones who don't, like trapper or cubed! instead of voices, they talk through chat bubbles!! sorta like those ones that NPCs have that doesn't show up in the in-game chat. however, their text do bleed into the system message part of chats sometimes due to how deeply ingrained they are to the game.
however, despite that, the entities themselves will "hear" no difference in how any of them talk. to them, both cubed and trapper are talkin' just like them.
the case for skins though, are... strange. they overwrite the entities' memories and model, making them wear someone else's skin while being very aware that something is horribly, horribly wrong.
skins with little to no lore wouldn't overwrite anything (expect name) and just messes with the entities' sense of self. if they have any gameplay changes, they'll instinctly understand how it works but they wouldn't be as good at using them like their base abilities.
they'll still have their "base" memories even with the skin on, however. effectively giving them an identity crisis for the round.
memories, memories.... All of Them have memories of a past. it never happened, of course, but they have them! it's basically their canon lore n' stuff. they will have gaps if parts of the lore aren't elaborated on ofc, i think you can get da idea.
okay. so. Studio. here's the thing; they shouldn't be aware when they're here. for a good while, they didn't. but one day, they did. it's as terrifyin' for them as you can imagine it. they are unable to move, unable to do anything but watch as their model is changed and modified against their will.
ashle was the first to experience this state durin' his redesign. his panicked and scared thoughts bled into the coding and lagged so hard the modeler had to restart the project. they didn't understand why it lagged. that's unfortunate.
anywho, despite that, none of them would remember what happened as soon as it was over. in fact, they wouldn't know that something had changed at all! they'll feel like something's wrong, something's off, but wouldn't understand What.
they weren't supposed to even be aware of studio. so, they wouldn't be. they won't remember that it happened at all.
the entities' awareness causes the game to lag and glitch, and this only grows in intensity as they continue to exist. this will eventually lead to endgame;
endgame is what i call the official endin' of this auā how it'll end, and stuff.
the entities, mentally exhausted and desperate, caused themselves to be fused into one entity. an entity with all of their moves, their passives, their everything. this creature, ENTITY_NOT_FOUND, will cause the game itself to be destroyed and deleted with no way to restore it.
the creature causes the players to crash the moment they're killed, and made the game so laggy and glitchy that it borderlines on being unplayable. that's what they wanted, however.
the entities want it all to stop. they knew this wouldn't till everything is gone. including them.
they got what they wanted.
post-endgame is an alternative timeline where the entities weren't destroyed alongside the game and instead now roams the roblox platform like myths. going into games and such.
it's like a break for them<3
okay that's the best i can do, feel free to ask any questions if u got any!! i loves ramblin' about my AUs i loves these sillies sm
