I’ve always suspected there is an old dump at the back of Alma Woods and every now an then the plough unearths the odd trashy treasure or two. I’ve found lots of old broken tile circa 1960’s and some pottery shards (mainly white) and a clay marble. Walking back up through the woods from dropping the car at the garage and coming out into the fields, I found this out in the open at the field edge freshly turned over in the last week or so by the harvest. It’s a milk glass perfume bottle (probably 1960’s-1970’s Avon but would love to find out more) and slightly purple in colour. The tulip motif is fantastic.
