That vegan, gluten-free breakfast sandwich you didn’t know you needed 🤤 . Tempeh “Sausage” with Steamed Kale and Avocado between Savory Pancakes (Check my stories for closeups) . The tempeh “sausage” recipe is by @minimalistbaker. I just added a spoonful of gluten-free flour to help it bind together better...some beans might work too. . Gluten-free Savory Pancakes: . About 1/2 cup (50g) gluten free flour About 1/2 cup (50g) almond flour (or ground almonds) 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt A little over 1/4 cup (or 70ml) water 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/8 tsp ground chipotle (optional) Black pepper to taste . Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Separately combine liquid ingredients, add to dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Heat a nonstick or lightly oiled pan then pour in 3 tbsps batter for each pancake. Cook for about 30 seconds on each side. Makes about 4-5 mini pancakes.
