as much as i joke and complain about it, it really is very cool to live and go to school on an active airport. the dorms are literally as close as you can get to the runway without being on the runway. me and my friends saw a helicopter land and we went up to the fence and yelled at the pilots until they came and talked to us. freakin awesome dude.

sometimes i forget that hal jordan’s canonical job is a pilot and every now and then someone will draw him in pilot gear and it’s like a jumpscare…. my major is following me everywhere…

one thing that sucks about aviation college is that tom cruise is omnipresent. you can’t turn the corner without seeing his face somewhere. there is at least one top gun poster in every hallway. “talk to me goose” stickers in the corner of the office window. i’m so tired of this

construction on our aviation building means i can no longer watch the planes take off and land on our runway :( this is devastating news… they were like my birdwatching… littol planes…
