i just read an article that basically broke down what the whole-season-dump thing does wrong. and essentially itβs that by drawing out the episodes, by making fans wait a week- sometimes two or three- between episodes, you keep hype going for long enough to draw out a fandom.
yeah i know binging is the way of the future and itβs nice but it just makes a bigger gap between new seasons so most die out before getting there.
