Jacqui sought out Avery nearly as soon as they arrived at the casino night, wanting to find their bandmate. Their father wasn’t coming, which - while somewhat disappoint to Jacqui - allowed them to have a good time with friends and there were few people they’d want to spend time with instead of Avery. When they found her, they immediately linked their arm through hers, tipping her head onto the other’s shoulder. “Do we gamble, drink, or find some other way to entertain ourselves while everyone else is miserable with their families here?” they suggested, looking over at her, a playful wink accompanying the question.
