a bitter liquid swished in her mouth it burned in her throat and avery swallowed it down. her eyesight became hazy and she blinked a few times as an attempt to make it return to normal. unlike the dozens of humans who surrounded her, she could never have enough alcohol. there would be no danger of poisoning her life or her mind she would wake up the next day hangover free and clear to repeat the act all over again, and again. the only possible danger was the guilt from the sins she might commit tonight but that is why, she reminded herself, the repetition was necessary. avery had no idea how in the hell she had gotten to her neighbourhood, but there she was carrying a bottle of whiskey by her side, singing songs from her heart. giggling to herself, she swayed under the effect of the alcohol in her veins. the brunette wasn't looking or thinking where she was or what she was doing so not thinking about the consequences, she plopped down onto the sidewalk, despite the muddy dirt on the ground.
