Honestly?? Here’s how it would go down

Before you even discussed marriage or kids, like earlier on in the relationship, you would make bucky sit down and watch every Disney and Pixar movie ever→ It took like four straight days of no sleep and a lot of junk food but you did it→ His favourites are Enchanted (Disney), The Incredibles (Pixar), Monsters Inc (Pixar), Lilo & Stitch (Disney), WALL-E (Pixar) and Up (Pixar)

When you have your eldest daughter, you actually have to get Steve and Sam to stop Bucky from naming her Boo→ It works and your kid is named Violet Barnes after Violet Parr from the Incredibles

When Violet is three, he lets her watch her first movie, Cinderella, and she is H O O K E D→ much to your amusement, she keeps asking how you and Bucky met and if it was like Cinderella→ the short version is that Bucky looks really good in a suit if you know what I mean

When you have your next kids (twin boys), both Violet and Bucky are over the freaking moon

He’s that father who treasures any and all time he spends with his kids and loves them all equally and wants them to feel loved→ Violet’s very understanding though, so when the baby comes, she’s constantly at Uncle Steve’s apartment or hanging with her Aunty Wanda→ She doesn’t say it, but she prefers hanging with Wanda bc Wanda always paints her nails and does her hair and they talk about feminism and sometimes even shop online

As the kids get older, like Violet is six and the twins are three, he plans movie nights for the kids→ Every other Friday night is Pizza and Disney Movies→ The kids love it bc Bucky lets them stay for ‘just one more movie’

Whenever he watches Up, he starts tearing up at the part and goes overly stoic→ When Violet starts taking Biology and Sex Ed, they rewatch the movie together and she starts crying at that part and he’s holding her and internally he’s like ‘don’t cry don’t cry don’t fuckign cRY GODDAMIT’ bc his lil baby is heartbroken :(

He’s always blown away by the art and ridiculous fan conspiracy theories

I don’t know if you guys know about this short but a bunch of students made one about an amputee dog being adopted by this kid who we only realize is an amputee himself at the end but I’m 18398475933% sure that Bucky would get emotional over it→ ‘babe we need a puppy’ ‘Bucky we have three kids’ ‘BUT WE GOTTA GET A PUPPY’→ you end up adopting a puppy named Tramp bc the kids overheard you and you couldn’t say no to all four of them

There are times where you two will literally just put on one of the scores/OSTs and waltz around the room→ his favourite song to waltz to is So Close by Jon McLaughlin → the kids will always watch you from behind a corner or a door and Violet always swoons while covering her brothers mouths so they don’t ruin the moment
