The readings are awesome and relevant and thought-provoking, but the thing is, between Media studies and life, I am getting really tired fo discussing subjects like orientalism, representation, and the White Man's Burden with really, really clueless pre-101 White people.
By the time I knowledge drop you up to the level you should have been functioning on all along, class is over.
And 1/2 of the facilitator-duo is very...bubbly. In a "Oh no bad things are happening veer away!" which, while good for peace keeping, does not allow a free-flowing discourse.
