Equalizer magazine likes to make satire out of the popular cultural problems around the music industry today – and they are pretty damn good at it. They are so good that it almost seems like an objectively written article, but after a closer look you can begin to tell that it’s just one big joke. However, jokes about pop culture come from somewhere and there always a bit of truth to some of the most sarcastic quips that are printed. There was a time when computers were first emerging that they were setup to challenge professionals at their own skill. Chess seemed like the most obvious place to test a computer’s skills. A couple decades later, and robots are still being tested against the best minds out there. IBM’s Watson, a jeopardy winning computer, is only a small testament to what a robot can learn within specific boundaries. The follow question arises naturally, “Can a computer produce creative thoughts as well as specific ones?” You see, a jeopardy question can only be answered with a specific answer. How does a robot know when to use creativity, or even humor?
