Well! You will not believe how hard it is to raise progeny by yourself underground without a golem or two to keep curious little hands away from beakers and bunsen burners! But with the Peacemakers, Inquest and Arcane Eye after us, what am I to do?
Look at him! My little Vatl is quite the engineer! Why it seems only like yesterday he made his first Interspacial Translocator! He’s so clever for his age, I can hardly keep up with him!
The other two visited the other day! They’ve grown so much since I last saw them! Not physically considering all Sylvari are “born” in mature bodies - but mentally they have exceeded what I thought possible!
That’s Winterlayt on the left - he’s the oldest of the two! He’s come such a long way from scratching at the walls and eating uncooked meat! Commander of the Pact! Can you believe it?! I never believed in his tactical prowess until I saw it for myself how he escaped the Inquest labs! He only had a bone shard on him at the time!
And my dear sweet Urlae on the right! He couldn’t hurt a fly. He was a real sweetheart when he was young, kept crying out how he’d never give in to the Inquest and they made him suffer for it! But his pain and suffering paid off when Winterlayt and I rescued him from the lab! Because of him the Inquest never focused on trapping anymore Sylvari for their experiments. He’s so brave. Stupid, but brave.
I finally have a picture of my kids all together. I wish I had more time to spend with them all.
I am ever so proud of them.
