Canadian Ocean and her importance in the 2013 Sugar Cloud
As we know, RTC during its last few runs in 2013 were going through some script changes. Specifically with them now bringing one the kids back with more of a plot. Meaning that Oceans Character (and everyone else’s) characters are going to be altered bit to fit the plot.
During Sugar Cloud, Ocean is easily Constance’s number one supporter. She was the one who gave Constance the recorder and she was the one who popped the confetti can for her. Being the good friend Constance always wanted:
I personally love this, since it shows her remorse and character development in a less direct way. Ocean is usually about prioritizing herself and her needs. Now. Ocean is the first one to prioritize Constance and her needs, showing that character development that she has to learn to choose others before she chooses herself. She also just looks so happy for her.
I get why they had it be changed back to Jane. She was the oddball who finally got accepted into something without people getting scared, it’s cute! I just love this angle on Oceans Character.
