Not a xenogender, but an aromantic identity where you feel as if whatever arospec identity you identify with is connected to your autism! It's exclusive to autistic people (duh)
It's just called Autiromantic.
Autisexual, an aspec identity where it feels connected to your autism!
Here's an Autiaroace :3 combination of autiromantic and autisexual
Heyyy Iāll set this blog up properly soon but <33 I wanted to make this blog to spread awareness on nebularspec identities and reach out to other folks who are on the ace-spec due to their neurodivergence - a space where we can freely and openly discuss our experiences without infantilisation or questioning!
Anyways - neurodivergent people I love you and our identities that are shaped by our funky brains is so epic and cool and we should talk about it more!!
Autiallo is an orientation which can only be understood in the context of being on the autism spectrum, when one's autism greatly affects one's allosexuality/alloromanticism. Autiallo is not autism as an orientation, but rather an identity that is so heavily influenced by autism that one's autism and one's allosexuality/alloromanticism cannot be unlinked. Autiallo people may feel like they are allo in a uniquely autistic way. Not all autistic allo people identify as autiallo, only those whose allosexuality/alloromanticism is influenced by them being autistic. Autiallo is an exclusive identity only to be used by people on the autism spectrum.
[ID: Two symmetrical flags. They are both composed of seven horizontal stripes. The one on the left is white, gray, black, lavender, black, gray, and white. The one on the right is the same, but with a pastel green stripe instead of purple. There is an infinity symbol in the center of each flag. The one on the left is purple and the one on the right is green. End ID.]
AUTISEXUAL: a sexuality that can only be understood through the eyes of autism, or heavily influenced by oneās autism
COLOR MEANINGS:Ā i started with this here autigender flag
which is sorta just a rainbow minus purple. and then took some inspiration from the pansexual/pangender flag duo to actually arrange it.
first, i did some color editing. i turned the blue to a purplish blue and the red to a pink, then switched the positions of green and orange. i wanted the ādeletedā colors to be shown in some way, so i also mixed green and yellow to get a yellower tone, and orange and red to get a redder orange.Ā
this resulted in two pairings which i found quite interesting. theyāre both pretty unconventional, different. kinda clash but also work really well together. theyāre not what you would expect as a pretty pairing, yet they are. and that really encompasses autism as a whole, no? we donāt act as expected all the time, but itās still beautiful and unique.
thereās also another aspect i found quite interesting: the pink and the green are both kinda bright and loud, they give me outgoing and friendly vibes, while the purple and orange are mellow and cool, at least to me. which also is a nice little nod to us and how different we can act not only from each other, but just ourselves depending on how weāre feeling.
Ā then thereās of course the infinity symbol which is a pretty popular autistic andĀ neurodivergent thing as a whole and a superlight grey barrier between green/pink and purple/yellow to provide a little break in the color action. i actually really like this flag. iām proud of it and i hope you like it too!
WHO CAN USE THE LABEL: autistics only, iād assume

Autiattractional: An orientation in which a person on the autism spectrum cannot tell the difference between different types of attraction due to being autistic. And/or an orientation in which a person on the autism spectrum is unable to understand and/or relate to the neurotypical concept of attraction, sexuality and/or orientation. And/or an orientation which can only be understood in the context of being autistic.
Autiorientation: orientation which can only be understood in the context of being on the autism spectrum, when one's autism greatly affects one's orientation. Autiorientation is not autism as a orientation, but rather an identity that is so heavily influenced by autism that one's autism and one's orientation cannot be unlinked. Not all autistic people identify with autiorientation(s), only those whose orientation is influenced by them being autistic.
Something similar to xenogenders but for sexualities?
Hi! Iām asking about this because while thereās a lot of people talking about the connection between autism and gender expression, I donāt see many people talking about the connection between autism and romantic and/or sexual orientation.Ā
Just to be clear, I am not talking about the MOGAI community, although there may be some overlap. The MOGAI community is not directly associated with neurodivergence like the xenogender community is.)Ā
My own personal experience is that Iām somewhere on the ace spectrum due to trauma, but Iāve been considering whether Iām also on the aro spectrum due to my autism. I feel as though myĀ āromanticā love for people isnāt wholly platonic or wholly romantic, rather somewhere in between. I also feel like I do not love people ācorrectlyā or in aĀ ānormalā way. While I could always just say something likeĀ āaroflux due to autismā i feel like this might be a common enough occurrence that we would benefit from an actual label. Iām certain Iām not the only autistic person who feels this way. I wanted to explore this idea more.
Some research has yielded the following identities:
Autisexual - Named similarly to autigender, however it sounds very fetishistic, along the lines of sapiosexual. At a glance it seems like attraction to autistic people, which is really just a fetish, and I donāt want a word that conjures up that kinda imagery even if the technical definition is different. Autigender has already been bastardized into āautism is my genderā instead ofĀ āautism affects my genderā and I feel like autisexual would suffer the same fate
Xenosexual - Iām only including this because of the same prefix, but it seems most people using the word xenosexual are talking about a fetish for aliens. This is not at all what I want. Again, Iām only including it here to cover all my bases.
Alterous attraction - This refers to love that is sorta in between platonic and romantic, which feels very accurate to what I want. However, it doesnt seem to be autism specific. I do really like this concept though. To me it seems to be like queerplatonic love but without the Q slur which seems very excellent and inclusive of people who are uncomfy with the word (like me, due to personal experience).Ā
Neurosexual/Neuroqueer - I like this one the most out of all the things Iāve found, because it seems to be a direct parallel to neurogender, however as Iāve said I am not a fan of a Q word, which seems to be very tied into neurosexuality.Ā
Nebularomantic - I like this one too. The definition isĀ āunable to tell the difference between platonic and romantic and alterous attraction due to neurodivergenceā which is pretty accurate to what Iām looking for. However, it seems like itās only for asexual people. The romantic suffix implies asexuality, whereas the sexual suffix doesnāt imply any specific type of attraction. While personally I am (probably) asexual, not every autistic person is. We need to be inclusive of the autistic community that does want to have sex.
What are yāallās thoughts on these words? Do you prefer any one over the other? Are there any other similar concepts Iām missing in this post? Please let me know, this subject is very interesting to me and I want to talk more about it
ID: flag with five horizontal stripes, black, gray, white, gray, black, with a purple infinity symbol in the middle, which vertically reaches middles of the gray stripes and has a white outline. End ID
ID: same thing with different colors and symbol design. The infinity is thinner and black, top stripes purple and light purple. End ID
Autiace/Autiasexual: a sexual orientation on asexual spectrum which can only be understood in the context of being on the autism spectrum, when one's autism greatly affects one's asexuality. Autiace is not autism as a sexual orientation, but rather an ace-spec identity that is so heavily influenced by autism that one's autism and one's asexuality cannot be unlinked.
Not all autistic asexual people identify as autiace, only those whose asexuality is influenced by them being autistic. Autiace is an exclusive identity only to be used by people on the autism spectrum. However, autistic people anywhere on the asexual spectrum (i.e. including demisexual, greysexual, etc.) may identify as autiace.
The aromantic counterpart is autiaro/autiaromantic.
The coiner of autiace is unknown. The colors are from the asexual flag and as such they represent asexual spectrum, while the infinity symbol represents autism spectrum. First flag's creator is unknown. The second flag made by @wikipunk.
