ok i love/hate being autistic and developing special interests
like... when i find a new special interest i freak out and envelop my entire world with it, make it everything that I am, and i want to talk about my special interests all the time... but when a person... or people call it bad... i just... it hurts a lot lmfao, i just stop talking about it
guzma (kinda specific but i like him a lot), homestuck, steven universe, undertale, league (i still talk about it a lot but it’s known for being called bad), .hack//, furries...
(most) these are all special interested that i’m too afraid to talk about anymore b/c people, either a large group or just specific people, have made fun of them or voiced their dislike of it, and
while i get that not everyone will like the things i like, it still hurts because, as my special interests it feels like they’re everything to me
