The Longest night of the year, for the Southern Hemisphere is Almost here! June 21, mark it down in your filo-faxes peeps! Wishing you and your crew a fantastic season: Winter! ❄️ Winter is not only a great time for snuggling in, earlier than the rest of the year, with the much earlier sunsets. Winter is also a great time, (especially come late June to mid July) when MANY businesses will shine with festive winter decorations and Christmas/Yule like activities/events to bring seasonal atmosphere and old traditions together. This Winter Solstice my family and I have arranged a series of activities from attending a bon fire event which will serve mulled wine and yummy winter treats, but a Yule time dinner up in the mountains looking out to a big Forrest, a trip to Victoria's golden country for a an evening light show, with Christmas in July dinner. I'm quite sick at the moment but I needed to make use of this glorious winter sun today! So I dragged myself off to the beach and it was beautiful.
