In order of the picture, we have Nico, Bratharim, Kithleen, Huave, Röwel, Stala, Austieri, and Dramus.
In order of who is most important: Stala, Huave, Röwel, Dramus, Austieri, Bratharim, Kithleen, Nico.
Stala: Stala is a 19-year-old college student studying Fine Arts. She lives with her adoptive parents and adoptive sister. During the events of book 1, Dreams of Warfare, she is taken to a mysterious and magical place called Aroma, which is on the edge of a Civil War. All she wants to do is leave, as she swore she wanted nothing more to do with her birth family.
Huave: Huave is a 21-year-old Marvroklian Lord of the Northern State, the youngest ever elected. He was heading to his sister's place on Earth when he attempted to rescue Stala from Dramus, but ultimately failed, a curse being placed on him to where no one can understand him. He swore to Stala that she would return home safely, and he will keep that promise no matter what.
Röwel: Röwel is a 26-year-old half-Elf, half Marvroklian Beast Tamer. He grew up alongside Huave, and was the one to rescue the two from Dramus once he took them into Aroma. He is one of the few who can understand Stala, as English is not a language commonly spoken in these strange, new lands.
Dramus: Dramus is THE Big Bad. He's a 42-year-old Teao, ex-lord, in fact, and he is the one pushing the country to go to war. He believes that within the war, the Teao will rise victorious, despite their naturally peaceful nature. He's constantly on the hunt for the Lost Princess, and he'll force her to unlease the chaotic magics of the land if he ever manages to capture her.
Austieri: Austieri is a 156-year-old Wood Elf who lives with his partner-in-crime and best friend, Bratharim. He is Röwel's father, and while he doesn't like that his son has chosen such a dangerous career, he will support him to the end. He was the one who found Kithleen when she went missing, and the one to raise awareness of Prince Nicolas's disappearance.
Bratharim: Bratharim is a 213-year-old Dwarf who lives with his best friend and partner-in-crime, Austieri. He was blinded by a young age by human raiders and has become quite adept at seeing through magical means, often being able to tell when something or someone is an illusion. He doesn't seem to like Stala much for some reason.
Kithleen: Kithleen is a 19-year-old Baker turned Noble. She was born the exact day, time, and year as the Lost Princess, and for the first four years, was raised alongside her as her body double and Soul Twin, for the two look identical in all ways. She was kept in the Palace of Past Tears when the Princess went missing, and has since been spotted running around in the wilderness of the Mid-State.
Nico: Nico is a 17-year-old Teao. He has always been a bit of an unknown. No one, even him, really knows where he came from, only that one day, he woke up with dragon scales up his arm and across his face, and a strange craving to stand in the sun as the waves crash upon the shore. He is, quite possibly, the biggest ally the books have ever seen.
Nico, as of right now, currently has the least pull when it comes to influencing the story within the First Book, as does Kithleen, but they are important enough for me to add them to the "Main Characters" list as they appear quite a bit. Secondary Characters will be introduced slowly, as there are quite a bit!

Do you have any "major" minor characters? What's the world their like from? Is it more of a steam punk kind of thing? Or is it something else entirely? I think that's all I got
Oh, definitely! There's Nico, Stala's no so make believe brother, Kithleen, Stala's doppelganger, Kelsey, Huave's sister, Rebecca, Stala's adoptive sister, Austieri, Röwel's elf father, Bratharim, Röwel's godfather, and a few others akdksmnf. Austieri is possibly my favorite secondary character.
I have a rough drawing of a map of the main country here! The first five books focus on each state/region, starting from the center, then going clockwise from the North. It's more Medieval than steampunk, but there are certain 20th/21st century aspects in the different areas, such as chain link fences and small factories in the Eastern State (the desert).
