YEEEEAAAAAH listen just remember. never take immediate negative reaction from pokĆ©mon fans seriously. literally ever. itās straight up just a given i havenāt seen any but i already know it exists just like i know the sunrise tomorrow will exist. the fandom is very big and very old and addicted to complaining. like even when people have a valid point there is always some loud minority that loves only mentioning the bad stuff and constantly comparing it to other games. it could be the greatest game ever or the worst game ever but the rule is it has to be like maybe 7 years old or so before the general consensus starts being āyooo this was peak so slept on i wish they still made games like thisā lol. like thereās wanting gamefreak to take their time and then thereās the insane illogical nitpicks iāve seen that have actually made me laugh. trust me you just gotta curate in this fandom lol. itās so much fun!!! enjoying things!!! and on my blog i looooove enjoying things i find beauty in both objectively good and objectively mid things. this is objectively good though so prepare yourself for more yelling

in z-a it lowkey made me tear up seeing AZ tell the same story as he did in XY but in first person. hell of a fucking meaningful change
EXACTLYYYYYYY ā¦. the changes in details are also so interesting to me. what he wanted to say then vs now. it seems like in za he was less broken up about it and a little more comfortable on the subject because at that point the misery of his separation had ended (though not the misery of his fear and regrets.) like he had floette by his side. but like āthe man was given a tiny boxā vs āshe perishedā. āthe manās pokĆ©mon took part in the warā vs āshe was sent to the front linesā (this was only word of god iirc but they had to clarify later he didnāt send his own pokĆ©mon to war she was ripped away from him) (also the confirmation that yeah girlie was considered a powerhouse!). not mentioning ange at all even though itās confirmed he and lysandre talked about that too bc he figured as long as lys didnāt have floette itād be fine so it wasnāt relevant (yes obv back then the writers didnāt have that plot point yet but retroactively yāknow). vs mentioning ange bc it is very obviously right there. but also interesting that in za he brings up the fact that he tried to do something good to redeem himself. it was a mistake but he thought he was helping. az feels the need to clarify the newfound goodness of his heart this time bc now he has people who love him. as opposed to back in xy he just speaks matter of factly about the situation at hand. iām very normal
i do wanna warn that the way to unlock the looker epilogue is kind of annoyingly convoluted requiring you to pass through several seemingly optional things before it pops up. when a friend of mine played x i had to tell her that it even existed because it's so easy to miss.
so if you need to ask how to unlock it/look it up, it's perfectly okay to do so. one of the weirdest parts of xy's design imo.

respectfully you shouldn't go to the doc to get a bpd diagnosis anyways, that more than most diagnoses is just a "annoying woman we can ignore" diagnosis that'll just get you medically mistreated to have on file lol
lol, i know, donāt worry. i joke, but iām not seeking diagnosis about it for that reason, as well as similar reasons to why iām not seeking diagnosis for autism despite very obviously having that too. i find it basically useless to seek out diagnosis for a mental health condition unless you want and need medication for that condition; this is why as an adult i sought out diagnosis for adhd (so i could get a prescription) but pretty much nothing else. most other treatment aside from meds, you can do without a diagnosis. even in talk therapy you can just tell your therapist āi think i have this, can we work from that assumption for a while and see if it helps meā and since a therapist isnāt licensed to diagnose you they can only agree to that or disagree and prove themselves a bad fit for you

3. Well, the next thing in my routine is work tomorrow, if that's what you're asking. I don't go anywhere, or do much of anything, or have friends outside of the ones in my phone, so I don't get invited to anything, and socially it's seen as strange to go to movies and bars and restaurants by one's self, which ends up meaning the only things I really do are go to work and come home to prepare for work. 2026 has no plans for me (outside of work), which is good, because I would rather be making money than not making money if I had the choice.
