Au Ra August 2026 Day 06 - Sand
Yusi reached down and brushed her hand against the surface. Granules shifted in a way that felt so close to real sand, but it felt off enough to be uncanny. She pushed her hand further and further in, trying to reach the solid surface beneath. The further down she reached the more the wrongness itched at her.
When the warm ‘sand’ made way for a cold tingling sensation. She must have hit the electrope below. She started to dig, but more and more ‘sand’ filled the hole. It must have been a circuit that manifested power into an aether blend that acted as sand.
It was ingenious work and she would stop at nothing to see it.
She placed her palm against the electrope and began to tug, drawing the aether within herself. Hopefully it was a localised circuit or she’d need to drain from the entire block.
She was just beginning to make headway when a shadow loomed over her. “If you were so hungry, you had but to ask.” The miqo’te said. Yusi laughed sheepishly “I’m not feeding, G’raha. I just wanted to see the magic.”
