Story bit: (ARR) Mayumi had first met Arenvald while she was still running errands for the Scions as a freelance adventurer. She learned he had the Echo from Minfilia. The Antecedent mentioned this in an attempt to convince Mayumi that she would be welcome in their company and that she was not alone. He and she were alike in age and though Minfilia did not press, she wholeheartedly insisted they become acquainted. When Mayumi spoke to him later, she found she could relate him and his feelings of being an outsider...
