“Wait-no! Come back! Ugh.” Alice had been chasing the dog for what felt like hours now. It wasn’t her dog--although she certainly wouldn’t mind having the small creature as a pet--the poor thing had been running around, clearly enjoying the game of watching Alice try to catch it. “I should’ve brought treats or something...” She huffed, blowing her hair out of her face as she straightened up, noticing that there was someone close by. “Oh, um, hi. You wouldn’t happen to be good with animals by any chance, would you?”

Alaric had to admit, he didn’t spend much time in the Wonky Cross. Competing business and all that, but he needed time away from the bar but wanted to go somewhere for a good drink. And the Cross had the second best drinks in town--in his opinion. “Ain’t gonna charge me double, are ya’?” He joked, arching a brow at August.

Pumpkin spice was, ahem, nice, but why did everyone have to go so overboard with it at this time of year? Etienne liked a good pumpkin muffin or doughnut or bread, but when it started getting into cereal and candy, that's when things started getting silly. "Sacre, why don' they jus' pumpkin up th' whole damn menu?" he groused as he passed yet another stall selling pumpkin spiced whatever. If they started pumpkin spicing any sort of Cajun cooking, he was really going to have a fit. Seeing a guy nearby, Etienne asked, "Tell me you don' think th' whole pumpkin spice thing has gone overboard? Pretty soon we're gonna be eatin' whole meals o' pumpkin spiced food if they all get their way!"
