I’m not going to tag anyone this time around but this was fun!
Or I toss August Shepard back into Dragon Age as a naval commander from somewhere, and yes she’s a ship captain, but she can kick ass on land too and has more command experience than certain other people
and yes, she’s religious so there is that, but she’s also openminded and distrustful of the Chant when spouted by the Chantry, and she would butt head withs an Inquisitor who is not confident in their ability to lead (Like Micah)Â
and she is not a templar
I have a problem and that problem is I love Shepard/Garrus but I also love shep/ashley and shep/liara and I could feasibly smoosh Shep and Garrus and Liara all together in an ot3 but I’m not sure how Ashley would feel about it
maybe like shep and garrus and liara are all girlfriends and boyfriend and then ashley is only shep’s girlfriend like a happy little triangle and then another line pointing to Ashley they’re a dipper, thats what they are polyamory in all of its wonderful forms fixes it
so I finished ME1 today, and it was an experience, alright I might replay the ending because like... I zoned out and missed a little bit? but that final bossfight with sovreign/saren is a bitch
and I started me2 and I picked Vanguard because I liked the idea of Cereberus, after having done experiments and research into biotic capabilities, finding a way to create/nurture biotic ability in Shepard’s body during the Lazarus project
and Shepard wakes up and in the shock sends half of the lab equipment flyingÂ
but then I realized I can’t use sniper rifles and assault rifles which those are my favorite weapons so I’m going to just have to imagine it like I’m imagining a relationship between August and Ashley being a thing because goddamn why wasn’t itÂ
and then it goes a bit sour after Virmire and they’re in a weird place, and they haven’t been able to figure out things by the time the Normandy is destroyedÂ
and then its two years later and everyone including Ashley has had the chance to move on, whereas August hasn’t had that timeÂ

Things You Said After It Was Over
Shepard rolled her shoulders slowly and cracked her neck, the sound echoing loudly throughout the otherwise empty bathroom. The tiles were slick and the mirror fogged up, and she had to reach out and wipe a mostly steady hand over it so she could see her reflection.
She looked like shit.
After too many weeks of being stranded in bed and fed nothing but nutritional paste, her cheeks were gaunt and sharp. She may have looked better than she had when she had been pulled out of the wreck on the Citadel, but that wasn’t saying much. Her muscles were equally wasted, protesting loudly along with her joints, and the commander felt winded just from taking a shower. The hair on her head was too long, almost long enough to begin compressing in tight curls against her scalp, and she could feel the scraggly hairs struggling to come in on her top lip and along her lower cheeks, as they always did when something interfered with her cybernetics.
