so on Saturday I worked with a coworker that I see like once a month and they tested positive for covid the next day. I took a test yesterday and it was negative but I think it’s too soon to tell so I’m gonna wait till Thursday to get another one done.
Thing is I told my boss this but she hasn’t responded :/. Like I just want her to know I’m not coming in today and not get a phone call later but I’m so awkward at texting her. Thing is she’s also not super concerned about covid so I hope she knows I’m not doing this to like get more time off, it’s more to be sure for safety. I live by myself, I need to work to survive because I get no help which she doesn’t know and it’s not something you expect from someone who’s 21.
I’m just stressing because I don’t wanna text her again and be like “hey I’m not coming” and then her responding with something like yeah I figured :/
