You might remember back in December one of my Youtube videos was taken down and I got a temporary warning strike on my dervampireprince channel because Youtube’s AI moderator flagged me reading my Patreon names in the outro as ‘explicit sexual content’ and refused my appeal. It caused me a lot of worry and stress, and I’d been thinking of where else I could back-up my audios. I’ve also reflected a lot on how stagnant my Youtube and especially Patreon has become, not dropping but also not having gone up at all in the last year, and what I could do to help that. I’ve now started posting daily shorts on Youtube and TikTok and hoping that eventually one of them gets helped by the algorithm into the feeds of people who aren’t already subscribed to me to help bring in new people in. Something that did previously help, is I used to share audios on Reddit, and some of my Patrons came from there, but I stopped when I made all my NSFW audios Patreon exclusive. And the loss of audience from that has been felt.

So, on December 3rd 2025 I put out a poll for my Patreon members asking them how they would feel if once a month I took an old Patreon audio (as in 2+ years old as this is year 5 of me making audios) and made it public. The poll asked whether they thought it was fine, or whether they would feel offended and would cancel their Patreon subscription. 98% of the 376 people who voted said they felt it was okay for me to make old audios public. So here we are. To be clear, only audios that are at least 2 years old have a chance at becoming public. *A chance* at becoming public. Some of them will never become public, it depends on which ones I feel the most like sharing. So now some of my NSFW audios will be Patreon exclusive forever and some will give Patreon members 2 years of early access.

Why not just record new audios instead? I already record two audios a week, two NSFW audios a month, and in addition to that take on private audio commissions, stream, and run my art shop (which is on hiatus right now but I am working on making new items for it so we can have a nice grand re-opening). So to record another separate NSFW audio on top of that would be a lot. And also, I don’t know how I would choose out of three audios which ones should be exclusive and which ones shouldn’t be, especially when they’re based off Patreon requests. My hope is that only doing this with audios that are 2+ years old, a lot of people wouldn’t want to wait that long to listen to the audio they’re curious about and would still join my Patreon anyway,. I am crossing my fingers that that will be the case and I don’t lose my main source of income because… well that would be obviously very bad. And my Patreon members have said they are okay with me doing this. And it won’t be every audio going public, I’m going to post 12 public NSFW audios a year and still post 24 Patreon early-access/exclusive NSFW audios every year. If you’re a Patreon member and you’re unhappy with this decision, I’m sorry but the poll was there, and I made an announcement public NSFW audios would be coming back and chosen from my Patreon archive on January 17st this year so you were warned months ago and had time to cancel your membership if you were unhappy with this decision. If anyone feels cheated in any way that something they paid for that used to be exclusive *might* now become public I am sorry, though you never bought the rights to the audio and I ultimately get to choose what I do with them. I really don’t want to have offended or upset anyone and I’m sorry to the 2% of voters unhappy with this decision, but I have to make a living (and not just for me, for those outside my streams and Discord you might not know I proposed to my partner in December (she said yes) and so I want to make a living for both of us, especially since her work keeps not giving her enough hours, please go check out and support JuliaB00 if you can) and this is the last thing I can think of doing to try and help with that. I feel like I’ve tried everything else and this is a last resort.

If I was going to start posting public NSFW audios this year, why am I only started now in April? Well, I wanted to start straight away. But I wanted to have all my audios backed-up to a new website first, and that took longer than I wanted as I re-injured my shoulder and it hurts to type for long periods of time. But that back-log is done and up so: I’m on Audiochan! Audiochan is a new website for posting audio content, both SFW and NSFW, though the site is for 18+ people only. It allows people to post audios and scripts and for voice actors and script writers to easily collaborate. It has a website and an app, there’s light and dark mode, you can have the audio player running with your phone screen off, adjust volume, make playlists, easily jump ahead in an audio, follow creators, block people, easily search for certain tags, doesn’t compress audio files, has auto-scroll on scripts and text posts, lets you leave text and voice comments, has DMs, and… Audiochan doesn’t allow any generative AI content on their platform! Nor does it have ads! You can choose to use Audiochan via it’s website, or via the Desktop, Android of iOS app.

Sick and tired of Patreon’s audio player that breaks all the time, an app and website that struggles, random audios autoplaying after you finish the one audio you wanted to fall asleep too? Audiochan has Patreon integration so all my Patreon exclusive/early-access audios on there that you can only access if you are a member of the fledgling Patreon tier. If you are a Patreon member wanting to listen on Audiochan instead of Patreon, you’ll make an Audiochan account, click ‘create’ on the left side menu, then click ‘Patreon integration’ to connect your Patreon account to Audiochan. This allows you to have access to Patreon exclusive works on Audiochan from any Patreon creator you support who has signed up to Audiochan. Hate that soundgasm doesn’t have a dark mode or app or a search bar? Well Audiochan has all of that.

I realise all of that sounds like a sponsorship… it’s not. Audiochan didn’t pay me or ask me to promote them. I just found out about it in January and have been so excited. I’m in the official Discord and the devs and mods are so nice and so quick at responding to bug issues and taking on community feedback.

The only things I wish Audiochan could do would let me customise the order of playlists so you could easily see a story series in the correct audio. It’s a feature other’s have asked for, and Audiochan is still a really new website that is adding new features all the time (the site went live in March 2025 and comments, DMs and push notifications were only added in December 2025). They have a back-log of features they want to add and I’m excited to see them when they’re live. The site is so clearly made from love for audio roleplays and because there is no good website for audio content like there is for videos and images and text that allows you to have a profile and follow people and search for audios and find new creators.

Every time I upload a new audio it will be on Youtube (unless it’s 18+), Patreon (18+ only), soundgasm (18+ only and I’ll keep posting here for the people who find this easier) and Audiochan (18+ only). I don’t get any ad revenue or income through soundgasm  or Audiochan, so views on Youtube are still appreciated.
