“Hey, little Listener, where’d you pick up that sign?” Mic-sensei asks, a strange edge to his curiosity. He’s just walked into the classroom, and Izuku had been spending the couple minutes before the bell deep in conversation with Iida and Yaoyorozu, using sign language for practice - they all need to get better soon, after all. They were talking about an encounter Iida had during work studies where he got lucky enough to run into Aizawa-sensei out on patrol - Eraserhead in his natural environment. Izuku was just expressing his jealousy when their English teacher interrupted.

“Which one?” Izuku asks, frowning, “Did I do something wrong? I’m not very good at it yet, I’ve been trying to practice but some signs are really hard to get right, and the angles are-” Mic-sensei holds up his hand to silence him and then signs ‘Eraserhead’ at him the way Izuku had a moment before. Izuku frowns. “Eraserhead? That’s... that’s how it’s signed, right?” Their teacher shakes his head. His brows are drawn together, and Izuku is at a loss. “... it... means something different?” he asks. He’s not sure where he picked that one up anyway. They’ve all been using it though, and Aizawa-sensei hasn’t bothered to correct any of them. “It means ‘sleepy cat’, dumbass,” Kacchan says from where he’s sitting on Kirishima’s desk, legs crossed. Izuku can feel himself flushing, mortification creeping up inside him. Mic-sensei just gives him a nod, while making a shooing motion at Kacchan, who reluctantly, and with a grumbled protest, gets off the desk.

“We’ve been calling Aizawa-sensei...” Iida doesn’t look much better than Izuku feels. Mic-sensei snorts a laugh. “No worries, kids, I’ll take all the blame for that one. I’m the one who came up with the name.” 

Oh. Izuku’s heard about name signs before. How they’re individual. He also knows that Mic-sensei gave their homeroom teacher his hero name. It’s kind of cool that he’s given him two names. They must be much closer than they usually let on. “... but if that’s his personal name, then isn’t it terribly inappropriate for us to use it?” Yaoyorozu asks worriedly.

Anakin rolled his eyes, slouching in a comfortingly familiar show of disrespect. “Yeah, I guess he was at least better then any of the stuffy old Masters. But it’s easy to be wistful when you didn’t have him riding your ass about droid parts and overdue datapads for 10 years.”

Ani bit his lower lip and peered at Obi out of  the corner of his eye. “Oh I don’t know, I’m fairly certain I wouldn’t mind Obi riding my—”

Incorrect. I have no AUs which require Dabi and Tomura to fuck in order to create Katsuki.

I, do, however, have like two AUs where Katsuki was created in a lab using both of their DNA without their permission. But that’s a totally different thing.

If I was gonna do a AU where Katsuki was someone else’s bio kid from sexual activity, it’d be Hawks/Tomura/Dabi, with Hawks’ quirk allowing this to happen. None of them would be prepared for it, but they’d all adapt as best they could.

Notably;

Katsuki has the same quirk he has in canon. Although some things are further fleshed out/explained

Specifically, Katsuki has a strong affinity for flying, and is hypersensitive to vibrations in the air/air pressure/temperature/etc that he gets from Hawks. The explosions appear to be an odd mix of Tomura & Dabi’s quirks, and thankfully Dabi appeared to have some recessive heatproof genes, because Katsuki got those.

It scared all of them half to death the first time Katsuki just stuck his lil hands into fire, giggling happily.

Dabi is the favorite parent, even though he and Katsuki will bicker or bitch at each other, he’s still the one Katsuki will go to for help first or confess emotions to.

Hawks is the cuddlier parent, he’s embarrassing & has too many baby photos & gets overprotective very easily. He’s probably the strictest of the three, but it’s out of concern more than anything else.

Tomura has the hardest time adjusting to being a parent, esp early on. Once Katsuki gets his quirk though, Tomura is able to step up and help teach him how to handle it. He’s the parent that Katsuki asks if Hawks won’t let him do something he wants to do.

Tomura & Dabi both aren’t usually too overprotective. If Dabi gets himself involved, it’s serious and if Tomura is getting protective it means someone really fucked up & might die.

Tomura is the parent Katsuki chills with the most, they play games together sometimes, although Katsuki prefers board games to stuff on a screen.

Dabi is the only one who can cook, and he’s the one who teaches Katsuki who takes to it eagerly.

No one has actually TAUGHT Zuko how to be the Fire Lord. He was the Crown Prince, sure, but he was like? 10yo maybe? And then a few years later, he got banished.

So not only does the UA staff have a teenage king on their hands, but said kid has been teaching himself how to rule and doesn’t really have any trustful adults around him.
