Aublysodon is based on some juvenile tyrannosaur teeth from the Judith River Group in Montana, living in the Late Campanian of the Late Cretaceous, approximately 75 million years ago. Given it belongs to a juvenile tyrannosaur, it is probably just a representative of an already present genus - potentially Daspletosaurus, however, the teeth are poorly known and are now lost, so it can never be confirmed as a juvenile of that genus. So, we’re stuck with this existing, even though it’s almost definitely just a juvenile of a tyrannosaur we already have.
