        Nightmare was lying in bed, listening to the sounds of laughter and chatter. Everyone was happy, expect for him. The positivity in the air disgusted him. Couldn't they have thrown this party elsewhere? Maybe he could crash the party? Yes, crash it and ruin everyone's night. It was their fault for disrupting his peace and quiet, in the first place.

        Nightmare got dressed, and began his decent into the lower levels of the castle, where the obnoxious party was taking place. When he opened the doors to the main room, he couldn't believe his eyes. The room was in total chaos. Horror was swinging from the chandelier, Fresh was chasing Error on a skateboard, and Killer was hogtying the original Frisk, with help from Murder. The party was total chaos. How did it get so out of control? Who even started this party?

"Dude, haven't you drank enough?"

"no, bruh, I'm not even seeing quadruple, yet!"

       Of course, the usual culprits. Epic and Cross always were planning parties like these. But, they weren't after today. Nightmare chuckled to himself, as he closed the doors. He went back upstairs, and into the castle's library. He had a plan, one that he was going to enjoy. They were going to suffer. Each and everyone one of them.

       "wait, are you telling me, in your world, you're the king?", Stretch asked, unsure if he had heard what was said, correctly. "yep", King responded. "geez, you must have to work a lot", Classic said, feeling bad for him. "not really, i just sit around on my throne all day, doing nothing". Blue, Cinnamon, and Prince, all gave King exasperated looks. "AT LEAST MY SANS ISN'T THAT LAZY. I MAKE SURE HE DOESN'T SLACK OFF", Edge sneered at the other Papyri.

       Dream watched this from the other side of the room, where he was talking to Ace and Core!Frisk. "Are these parties usually like this?", Ace asked, staring at the two Sanses tying up the original Frisk. Core!Frisk sighed, and pointed it out to Dream, who immediately stepped in, to what would've likely led to, a horrible death.

       "Believe it, or not, this is tame compared to past parties. One time, Blue, Raspberry, Cinnamon, and Edge caused an explosion in the kitchen. Nightmare made everyone clean up stay, and repair all damage cause by it"

"I believe, now is the time I should be taking my leave".

"Are you sure you want to leave so soon?"

      Dream successfully stopped Murder and Killer, and rejoined his two friends. "Yes, sadly I must go. Farewell, dear Dream, and dear Core", Ace said, with a tip of his hat. "My name is 'Frisk', not 'Core'", the grayscale child corrected. "Yes yes, whatever, goodbye!", Ace said hurriedly, as he vanished in a burst of confetti. "Why did he have to leave?", Dream wondered aloud. Core!Frisk shrugged. They were more occupied by trying to figure out where the confetti came from.

       Lust watched Ink as he sketched everyone in the room. The artist's speed was impressive. "How are you drawing that fast?", he inquired of him. "It's something I can naturally do. I kind of need the skill for fighting. If I can't paint and draw fast, I'm pretty much doomed", Ink explained.

      The air in the room suddenly shifted, causing everyone to fall silent. They were all met with a strange energy. Something no one recognized. "i'm not the only one feelin' that, right?", Fell called out to everyone. All of the party guests confirmed that they were feeling it as well. That was when a book appeared in the center of the room, and zapped several of them, causing them to disappear.

      The air returned to normal, and the mysterious book vanished. "W- where did they go?!", Fell!Frisk stammered. "I'm not sure, Mercy", Swap!Chara answered, as they tried to comfort the scared Frisk. No one knew what was going on. No one but a certain former skeleton, laughing in his library, enjoying the anger and fear that has replaced the joy and laughter.

The chaos has just began.
