Yoongi should have known better, but in his defense, he didn’t think anything this catastrophic could have happened in the two minutes he had slipped away to the bathroom.

But as he stands in the doorway leading to the kitchen, he finds at least thirteen things wrong with the picture in front of him; at least ten of which could have been prevented if he could hold his bladder better.

“Baby girl,” he starts slowly, stepping over a puddle of—is that an egg? “What happened?”

The four-year-old sits on the tiled floor, covered head to toe in a mixture of strawberries, bananas, yogurt, flour, and orange juice, with something with an uncomfortable, sticky-looking texture stuck between her fingers. Yeona points to the counter top and Yoongi turns to find the root, or at least one of the roots of the many issues: an uncovered blender and open carton of eggs.

He blinks before turning back to the child on the ground. She looks down at the messy floor—and Yoongi knows that pout like the back of his hand.

He sighs, crouching down to her level and pushing her dirty hair out of her face, “It’s okay, baby, it was an honest mistake.”

But her disappointed resolve doesn’t fade away at her father’s words, “I messed up mama’s breakfast.”

lots and lots and lots of studio time together

sometimes you drop her off after school and yoongi will already have laid out a blanket on the floor with some snacks and a coloring book 

he may or may not have installed another little desk opposite his with a mini sound board and computer and games and a swivel chair just her size

she’s not very high maintenance, just being in the same room as her dad is enough time spent with him for her

she might just be in the background chilling but yoongi is always watching her and takes notes on her body language as critiques on his music

if she’s sitting on a chair and swinging her legs to the beat he smiles because yay his little girl likes it

sometimes she gets up and dances and that’s the best reaction

because if mini min doesn’t like the track, the track gets scrapped

sometimes he’s more direct and asks her and i she’s quite honest with him

if she doesn’t like something, she’s sure to tell him that

“no that’s too slow daddy, i’m bored”

“no that sounds funny daddy i don’t like it”

“ooh i like that one i like the drums make it louder daddy!!!”

and yoongi listens to her every word

(the other producers think he’s crazy for taking musical production advice from a literal child, but yoongi doesn’t give a single fuck, her approval means everything to him)

she’s constantly showing yoongi new things she’s learned when it comes to music

“daddy look at what i learned how to play today!!”

and she’s always showing yoongi “new” music and even though he’s already heard he always plays along and tells her she has better taste in music than he does

there’s no way you can’t tell that she’s yoongi’s daughter

she’s sarcastic and offhanded way like yoongi

doesn’t always say what she’s thinking out loud unless asked because she’s a quiet kid, too

but if you ask for her opinion, you’ll get nothing but pure honesty

she probably takes lots of naps in the studio too but that’s not at all the reason why yoongi bought a kumamon beanbag and a bunch of fluffy pillows and blankets and put them aside

she knows when not to bother her dad but if she’s really sleepy and it’s been a particularly long day, sometimes she’ll go over to yoongi’s chair while he’s mixing music, sit herself on his lap and make herself comfortable

sometimes she tries to stay awake and yoongi teaches her about the buttons on the soundboard

but sometimes she just wraps her small hands around his waist as much as she can and falls asleep

(yoongi loves when she does that the most)

of course yoongi and yeona have matching headphones what else were you expecting

he carries her everywhere like physically carries her in his arms at all time this is his princess we’re talking about here

the girl twin is older by like seven minutes and she never ever ever lets her brother live it down

because she is jungkook’s daughter, after all

jungkook is the dad that all the kids at school want to have as their dad because he’s good at everything

his own kids can frequently be found saying “i wanna be just like daddy!!”

so they’re both pretty competitive and mischievous just like jungkook

and usually they’re teaming up with each other, rather than against each other when it comes to pranks

but that’s because the twin girl reigns supreme in this house, and her brother knows better than to try and mess with her

jungkook pretty much encourages their troublesome behavior

“no kyungkook, you should replace his shampoo with glue, not hair dye, come on kid”

“dad wanna help up pull a prank on mama?” and he didn’t even pretend to hesitate before saying yes

it’s like you’re raising three children, not two 

even though when it comes to pranking their a team, when it comes to competition it’s every man for themselves

they love to make bets about everything

who can eat the most, who can run faster, who’s better at hide and seek, who’s taller, who’s stronger, who’s louder, who sneezes better, who has better, who’s uncle yoongi’s favorite

literally anything and everything can be turned into a competition between these two

but don’t let that fool you, they love each other more than anything

they do everything together, even if it is just competing against the other

they actually don’t like to be apart for all that long

there’s so such thing as you taking the girl out for the day, while jungkook takes baby boy

they want to be together

so jungkook has gotten used to carrying them both around all the time at the same time

if baby boy is on his back, then he’s holding his baby girl at his side

he likes to let them win and dramatically falls down when they hit him and win the fight

they boys love taking the credit for raising jungkook themselves, so you can imagine they’re very involved with and love to help out with the twins

they love uncle jin because he’s the funniest and always makes them laugh and boops their noses

and wow!! he’s actually taller than their dad, so of course they have to climb him and sit on his shoulders and be spun around by him too

baby girl likes uncle hobi a lot because he’s also funny and kind of quirky and there’s never a dull moment between the two of them

baby boy also likes namjoon and kind of has that same hero complex for him that jk does 

it’s so cute both the jeon boys love joon so much :’)

oh picture this: jungkook dancing with his daughter in their practice studio

he’s holding her little hands and she has to step on feet while he guides her through the dance and baby boy is dj-ing with uncle yoon in the back

jungkook pretty much gives into anything they ask him 

not very good at playing bad cop lmao

all they have to do is look remotely sad and he’s already caving in

thus explaining the growing piles of toys and games and clothes

and sometimes you get mad at him because he can’t give them everything they ask for all the time

twin girls and a baby boy

kim chae and kim lily, 4 years old; and baby kim rumi, just turned 1

taehyung loves kids he loves having three babies to take care of and love

and he loves seeing them take care of each other

he and his kids are best friends, and his kids are all besties with each other that’s how it rolls in this household

ok let’s start with the twin girls

they’re kind of complex; they can be very playful or very reserved

more shy when it comes to new people, but they warm up to strangers very quickly

pick up on tae’s love for art and art very visual learners

even from a young age tae probably couldn’t resist taking them to museums and by the time they’re four or five they love it

even tho museums are quiet place and most kids think they’re boring the twins love all the pretty colors

plus bonding time with papa

they’re truly taehyung’s best friends

he dreads they day you have to start sending them to school and he doesn’t get to spend all day with them

taehyung likes helping them out whenever he can

holding they’re hands when they’re walking

carrying them around

playing house with them

going to the park

tying their shoes

braids their hair

packing their lunches

you know that post of that girl who said her dad packed her a peeled orange every day since kindergarten

except that post ends with girls’ dad leaving her an unpeeled orange and instructions on how to peel it on her last day of highschool, but taehyung would probably go so far as to send them peeled oranges in university

really likes taking them to the red carpet

even tho they’re shy he loves being with his family and showing the world his little family

they might not be as rambunctious as the jeon twins, but they’re just as happy and smiley and so so giggly

these girls will laugh and smile at a n y t h i n g

four kids, a true family man, the best father in the world

four kids is a lot of kids so let’s break it down; boy, girl, boy, girl, bc that would happen to hoseok

the oldest, jung holden, 5 years old; jung luna, 4 years old; jung hiro, 2 years old; and last, but not least, jung summer, newborn baby girl

hoseok’s oldest son is hoseok in a five year old’s body

as the oldest, he’s always looking out for his younger siblings

the two middle children are the closest

and the overly affectionate, very supportive, shows up to every soccer game with a big ass sign and a megaphone kind of dad

is willing to take his kids anywhere and do anything with them if it’ll ensure their happiness

if his little girl asks him to paint with her, he’s already set up seven easels twelve watercolor paint sets, and pulled two smocks out of his back pocket

“dad can we go get ice cream please”

“it’s the middle of winter and the ice cream shop is a 20 minute drive away”

you’d find out anyway but you shouldn’t be surprised hobi could never say no to his kids

takes the two oldest to the dance studio with him just to goof off or keep him company

they always cheer for him during dance practices

he loves doing that

he’s so patient with them and he loves the father/child bonding time

and what better way to do that than doing something he loves with people he loves

the kids look up to him so much

when they’re tired out after a session they just kind of come up to him and lift their hands up for upsies

and he can’t say no to any of them so basically it becomes a human totem pole of hoseok and his sleeping children

the kind of family that roll up always looking really street chic and cool

everyone is always well dressed and ready to pose

he never shuts up about his kids he loves his kids so fucking much

and if he’s not hyping his kids up, then his kids are hyping his kids up

hoseok would probably sample their voices on a few tracks as background vocals or something

hoseok once wrote a whole song about and for his mom, if you don’t think he’s doing the same for his kids then you’re wrong

you know how jay-z recently released blue ivy’s freestyle.....that’s a hobi move

the hixtape is actually 40% his own kids 

but when he has to get serious work done in the studio, he lets the boys watch over them

uncle jungkook is the one that buys them the cool toys and takes them to the movies and dances with them when hoseok’s busy tho

jungkook is kind of a child himself so it’s easy for him to entertain hoseok’s hyperactive kids

they older two favor their uncle yoongi

uncle yoongi is quieter than uncle kook, but he has his own studio like their daddy and he lets him listen to their old music and record their own voices sometimes

and uncle yoongi supports nap time

uncle jin and uncle tae babysit the littles

tae has four kids of his own, so he’s been through his fair share of diaper changes and crying fits and is good to handle that when necessary

and jin acts as both entertainment and a calming presences

the babies can be found cuddling up to jin when he babysits

hoseok is really big on family time especially bc you guys are such a big fam

because hoseok’s life revolves around his kids, but his kids’ lives also revolve around him

“hobi why have you been walking around with a recording camera for the past week??”

“because he’s gonna say his first words soon i can feel it and i have to get it on video”

park mina, 2 and half years old

cute and shy and cuddly just like chim

she hides behind your legs when meeting new people

or clutches on to your shirt really tight when you hold her up

actually, regardless of whether you’re around familiar people or not, she doesn’t stray far from you or jimin

but also isn’t afraid to show you who’s boss she knows damn well she’s the princess and won’t let you forget it

has jimin’s eye smile and it’s his favorite thing in the entire universe

he will go through leaps and bounds just to make her laugh bc she has your little giggle and that’s adorable enough but when she gets really happy her eyes get really small and her cheeks get really big it melt’s his heart

jimin does the airplane thing when feeding her

constantly filming her

jimin is that parent that captures everything on video at all times

you’ve seen the way he films the other members at random times, now imagine that but with his kid

his camera roll is full of selfies of him and mina, pictures of her from when she steals his phone, videos of her speaking or singing or playing

anything really

and he likes having the memories and capturing her growing up bc it all goes by far too quickly for his liking

he also likes having it to look back on when he’s away or stressed out

mina has an apt for art and painting and loves to watch her dad dance

tries to copy him and begs him to sign her up for dance classes

and ofc jimin listens

jimin likes when her hair is down bc then it gets in her face and then she has to ask daddy to come and fix it and he loves putting a little bow in it

or braiding it!!

jimin loves to braid her hair so she usually goes to him to do it after bath time or before nap time

jimin calls her mini and she always pouts and says “daddy i’m not that small!!” and it’s so cute because she is!!

(and her pout is perfect someone spends too much time with uncle yoongi)

stomps her little foot and jimin tries to be serious but he just ends up scooping her up in his arms and showing her with kisses

“yes you are mini!! don’t worry ur the perfect size for daddy to pick you up!!”

and then he picks her up and somehow manages to do a perfect pirouette whilst holding her up in the air

jimin cannot resist her at all so he buys her anything and everything

“mina was saying she felt lonely and really wanted a dog please don’t be mad!! besides look at all these cute videos i have of our baby and our new baby!!!!!”

and when she says she wants to be a ballerina like her daddy, jimin can’t resist getting her the tiniest pair of pink ballet shoes and a whole little getup because wow have you seen anything cuter than park mina in a ballerina costume bc jimin most definitely has not

think about her first real dance recital jimin watching his princess dance around onstage and he’s never seen a better pas de bourré and she’s only like three what a legend

by the end he’s in tears and when he goes to pick her up backstage he swings her around to hear her little giggle and then smothers her in kisses and gives her the biggest bouquet of flowers ever

the bouquet is bigger than her but she looks so cute

jimin has also taped the recital from 70 different angles and sent it to be professionally edited and developed

all the other boys come to support her and she gets smothered in kisses and love from all her uncles

especially uncle tae who gives her a build-a-bear dressed like a ballerina which then prompts mina to vow that she’ll marry uncle tae one day trust her

jimin’s little girl is gonna get his extreme love for cuddling

which means mina NEVER sleeps in her own bed

it could be one in the morning and you hear little pitter patters and you jump bc what if someone’s in the house!!

but nope it’s just park mina making her way to her parents’ room and silently getting on the bed between you and jimin and just snuggling herself to sleep

and you and jimin just kinda look at her in awe bc wow bold move kid but also wow what ur cute kid

and you guys just kinda cuddle into her!!
