Like PopPunk Broppy is really an excuse for me to imagine them in another universe where their dynamic is just my fave trope. It's self indulgent 100% idc. I love the enemies to lovers pipeline and that's exactly what Branch and Poppy have when they reconnect in their adult years. The boy she met has changed so much she doesn't recognize him immediately and then is shocked to see what the years have done to him. But growing up outside of Pop Village after the loss of everything he knew made him put up a bunch of walls and he shuts out anyone in a bit of a cold manner. But the Branch from before was still inside, he just kept that part of him locked away. And the differences in their personalities was so day and night that when they would cross paths it would be messy. He's closed off and quick with his usual sass and sarcasm, and Poppy is strong and very forward in a way that she can stand her ground firmly. And eventually, of course, they become affectionate towards one another and fall in love. But that era before that....mmmmm I just love thinking about that hot and cold dynamic >:}
How about a prison au with HongIce? Leon gets in trouble for a petty crime and is sentenced for a few years. Emil is a new prison guard and is not super strict, but he still knows how to perform his job. Leon takes a liking to Emil and boy does he love to flirt with him. Over time, they develop a secret relationship and do things behind close doors. Emil falls in love or at least he thinks it's love, but when Leon is finally released, he just disappears, leaving Emil disappointed.
I would pretend that the angst makes me sad but I secretly love it hehehe

And my heart is broken for Emil but I feel like this would be kinda interesting to read/write as a character study? Like I’d be tempted to suggest this as 1st person for the reasoning that getting into Emils head in an AU like this would be super cool
