“At Your Funeral” by Saves The Day

I still think this song is awesome and I’m totally not emo. First album I ever heard by Saves The Day was “Through Being Cool” - an excellent punk effort (as the band was a lot faster and more aggressive with their earlier stuff). “Stay What You Are” is one of the most quintessential emo/indie albums you’ll probably ever hear (if that’s your cup o’ tea). I prefer their earlier faster punk rock songs myself, but I cannot deny that “Stay What You Are” has to be their crowning achievement (and helped pave the way for many following bands who went the way of the shoe-gazer soon after).
