A Tamagotchi winter carnival is coming soon to Japan. Bandai has partnered up with Atre, a chain of shopping malls which offers a variety of shops including fashion brands, restaurants, and more. The winter carnival will run from Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 through Saturday, January 31st, 2025. The winter carnival will consist of six components.

First, the Atre x Tamagotchi Gift Campaign is where you will receive one of three Atre x Tamagotchi winter carnival stickers for a purchase of ¥1,500 or more (including tax). Be sure to collect all three! This campaign starts on January 10th, 2025.

Second, is a LINE original wallpaper gift. During this collaboration you can receive a LINE Atre x Tamagotchi wallpaper for LINE messenger, which you will see on the talk screen. There are five types total, and you can simply search for them.

Third, is New Year’s Celebration Egg Manju Gift, which are wheat flour sweet treats. Simply visit a participating location (Atre Ebisu, Atre Oimachi, Atre Takeshiba, Atre Omori, Atre Kawasaki, Atre Otsuka, Atre Yotsuya, Atrevi Higashi Nakano), and make a purchase of ¥2,025 or more, and you’ll receive one.

Fourth, is a Tamagotchi hide-and-seek campaign. You’ll need to look for Tamagotchi in the participating facility (Atre Ebisu, Atre Oimachi, Atre Omori, Atre Kawasaki, Atre Yotsuya, Atre Kichijoji, Atre Ueno, Atre Shin-Urayasu, Atrevi Otsuka, Atrevi Sugamo, Atrevi Tabata, Atrevi Mitaka) during the winter carnival period, and you’ll hopefully find some panels and posters where you can scan a QR code. Simply post to Twitter with the #TamagotchiHideandSeek hashtag for submission. 25 people selected will win an original Tamagotchi towel.

Fifth, you’ll be able to see Kuchipatchi and Mametchi who will be holding some photo and greeting sessions at Atre Ebisu, Atre Meguro, Atre Kawasaki, Atre Shin-Urayasu, Atre Omori, Atre Kichijoji.

Sixth, you can visit Atre Memetchi using the Tamagotchi Uni Tama Search feature at participating locations! Memetchi is holding shopping bags, and singing!

The participating locations are Atre Ebisu, Atre Meguro, Atre Takeshiba, Atre Oimachi, Atre Omori, Atre Kawasaki, Atre Ofuna, Atre Yotsuya, Atre Kichijoji, Atre Ueno, Atre Urawa, Atre Matsudo, Atre Kame, Atre Shin-Urayasu, Atre Toride, Atre Dai Tsuka, Atrevi Sugamo, Atrevi Tabata, Atrevi Higashi Nakano, and Atrevi Mitaka.
