This book follows Emeline, cousin to the MMC from the first book, and her sworn enemy who owns a rival coffee bean company. When they compete against each other for investment, they are given a task: plan a cafe for the Baby Dragon Bookshop - the best proposal wins the investment too. Only problem is her sworn enemy is really attractive and attentive, but can Emmeline let the past go? The Baby Dragon Bakery by A.T. Qureshi, the second book in the Baby Dragon series, was my 18th read for this year. I enjoyed book 1 and went straight on to book 2 because light and fluffy was definitely what my brain needed last month. This book follows the characters we meet in book 1, Lavinia, who works at the cafe and Theo, the baker who provides the fusion concoctions for the cafe. They've been best friends since childhood but lately something has shifted between them... Short version of my review: there's a lot of miscommunication trope in this one that isn't my favourite thing, but it's still a cute book, and hasn't put me off the series! #bookblog #atqureshi #bookreview

The Baby Dragon Cafe by A.T. Qureshi, the first book in the Baby Dragon series of books, was my 16th read of this year. As I attempt to climb out of my reading slump, I just wanted another fun, short, cute read and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. This book was exactly what I needed to read right now, it was cute, with a little bit of plot and world-building, and had baby dragons! What wasn't there to love?
