who cooks normally?:

They don’t cook. Mizuki can boil some water at most and manages to make some good tea occasionally. Both of them have such refined tastes that they eat the finest dishes at the fanciest restaurants or food made by Atobe’s specialty chef. Atobe even gets his chef to make Mizuki’s school lunch.

Mizuki’s mother has given up on trying to satisfy her picky son at this point and curses this Atobe Keigo for being the cause of it.

how often do they fight?:

All. The. Time.

The moment you think a conversation is going well, one of them will make a comment that starts a series of petty bickering. The things they argue the most about are: the other’s clothes, the other’s atrocious taste in music, the other’s abysmal taste in literature, and the other’s appalling taste in art.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?:

They both go to their friends and complain about each other. Mizuki’s a gossip-whore and loves telling an uninterested Yuuta about “You wouldn’t believe what Atobe-kun did yesterday—“

Atobe acts similarly and at first everyone is weirded out because whoa atobe is talking about someone other than himself but then he never shuts up and everyone starts ignoring him.

nicknames for each other?:

I don’t think they would have nicknames.

I like to think that Atobe tried giving Mizuki an embarrassing nickname once but then Mizuki gave him the dirtiest look and said “If you call me Mizukikins again, I will tell all your friends that you cry when you orgasm.”

who is more likely to pay for dinner?:

Atobe pays with his gold credit card. The idea of Mizuki paying for dinner never even crossed his mind.

But later on, Atobe will use it against Mizuki. Mizuki will complain about being tired and wanting to go to bed while pushing Atobe’s advances away. Atobe then says “Is that how you repay someone who took you out to a nice dinner?”.

However, Atobe’s guilt-tripping never works and Mizuki just walks away and replies with “My presence should be enough of a payment, you overzealous peacock.”

who steals the covers at night?:

Fortunately, there are enough covers for everybody. Atobe’s bed is enormous and has an abundance of covers and pillows. However, Atobe is used to having such a large bed to himself so he moves around a lot in his sleep and even snores a bit sometimes (though he denies it when Mizuki accuses him of snoring in the morning).

Mizuki wakes up very easily and get extremely irritated if Atobe’s constant scuffling is keeping him awake. So Mizuki often leaves and goes to one of the many guest bedrooms and falls asleep there.

what would they get each other for gifts?:

Whenever Atobe’s birthday draws near, Mizuki curses the fact that his boyfriend is rich beyond belief because that makes him a very hard person to shop for. I would think Mizuki would ensemble a nice outfit for Atobe consisting of much purple and floral patterns, and when Atobe opens his gifts and looks unsure, Mizuki just says “Shh, trust me, this will look great on you.” And of course Atobe replies with, “of course it will, everything looks great on ore-sama.”

I don’t even want to think of what Atobe would do for Mizuki’s birthday. Remember Kabaji’s birthday on Atobe’s Gift OVA? Yeah, I imagine something even more extravagant, but still Mizuki would not be impressed and nitpick at small details like “wow out of all the main courses you could have picked, you chose to serve fillet. Way to ruin the supper.”

I just think Mizuki lives in a constant state of pretending he’s not impressed at anything Atobe does.

who remembers things?:

Mizuki does. Not because he’s considerate though, but only because he’s the type of person who will not let go of something no matter how long ago it happened. They can have an argument and Mizuki will remain angry for as long as it takes for Atobe to apologize, which can take quite a while.

Atobe often gets fed up and goes, “For god’s sake, just let it go, all I said was that your shoes didn’t match your shirt.”

And Mizuki will bring up something that happened months ago like “No, it’s not just the shoes, eight months ago you told me my belt was tacky.”, and Atobe just throws his hands in the air and gives up.

who cusses more?:

Neither of them cuss because they think such language is improper. I think they would both use rather creative words to form insults to throw at each other.

But Atobe never thinks of them as insults. If Mizuki tells Atobe he is a “supercilious living feather boa”, Atobe will think of it as a compliment.

In return, Atobe’s insults are hard to understand because he uses big weird words like “You vexatious ultracrepidarian” and Mizuki has no idea what that even means so he just looks insulted and goes look it up online and then gets even angrier afterwards.

what would they do if the other one was hurt?:

I imagine Mizuki getting hurt while skiing and he wakes up in some hospital in England because the best doctors are in England, according to Atobe.

If Atobe gets hurt, Mizuki will complain that blood got all over Atobe’s shirt and ruined it. And then he will call for help.

who kissed who first?:

Atobe kissed Mizuki first, mainly to make him shut up about something they had been arguing about for the last several weeks, but also because he felt strangely attracted to him.

Mizuki got really pissed and didn’t contact Atobe for days afterwards, but that’s mainly because Mizuki was busy blushing and hiding in a cocoon under his covers trying to understand why he was making such a big deal about this. Oh geez, get it together Mizuki! it was only a kiss! And worse, it was from that haughty captain with the god-complex!

who made the first move?:

Atobe tried to make the first move, but Mizuki shoved him away and said no. Atobe then told Mizuki that he should be honoured that ore-sama was giving him such attention.

Mizuki replied that Atobe should be happy Mizuki hadn’t kicked him in the balls yet.

who started the relationship?:

Mizuki made it official the first time, but they broke up after a week.

Mizuki surveyed the photoshoot happening in front of him. Two of the world's top male models were wearing his creations for a centre spread in Vogue and being shot by the talented Fuji Shuusuke.  The reality of his meteoric rise as the next "it" designer was finally sinking in as the poster boys for his new collection shifted into new poses and represented the two images of his line.  

Yukimura Seiichi exuded elegance in Mizuki's floral shirt, his silhouette and beautiful face fitting perfectly with Mizuki's vision for the graceful side of his clothing line.  In fact, now that the fashion world's eyes were on him, he was able to select Yukimura for this specific job.

Beside the blue haired man stood Atobe Keigo in a rich burgundy blazer, representing the regal side of Mizuki's collection. His brows furrowed as he watched Atobe.  The man wasn't Mizuki's first choice for purely personal reasons, Atobe's arrogance ruining their first meeting at London Fashion Week. But his agency, Hyoutei Models, was very convincing so eventually Mizuki relented. It wasn't good to snub Sakaki just because he couldn't stand Atobe. He would be professional.

"That's a wrap!" Fuji went up to the two models and shook their hands, exchanging pleasantries with familiar faces in the industry. Atobe caught Mizuki's eyes watching them and sauntered over, leaving Yukimura chatting with Fuji.

Atobe stopped in front of Mizuki and looked down at him in that infuriating way of his. "Were you intoxicated by my prowess?" Mizuki's eye twitched. He curled a finger around his hair and twirled. "Nfu, Atobe-kun, sorry I wasn't paying attention. I was focused on watching Yukimura-kun. I'm glad I chose him for this job."

"Ahnnn? Yukimura is good, I'll give him that, but I'm better." Mizuki's comments set off Atobe's competitive spirit. There's a reason why he's called the King. "You'll see on the runway." A smirk spread across his lips. "Or I can show you over dinner."

Mizuki's eye twitched again and his finger twirled his hair some more. "I must decline, Atobe-kun. Unfortunately, I'm busy." Spending an entire dinner with Atobe's ego wasn't Mizuki's idea of a good time even if there was the best capellini pasta in the world. "Maybe another time." He turned on his heels to leave when Atobe spoke.

"Oh that's too bad. I have a reservation at L'Atelier."

So Mizuki might not spend dinner with Atobe for capellini but for Joel Robuchon's caviar  and foie gras at the chef's super exclusive and booked-out-for-months 3 Michelin starred French restaurant, he's willing to suffer for culinary art. Mizuki sniffed, "Well, I suppose I could go this time."

Atobe/Mizuki in their rose bath because that witness talk was the most amazing thing ever. Mizuki doesn't take baths with other people BUT HE DID WITH ATOBE. hahaha

I needed a break from my cross pairing exchange entry or else I'll suffer from burn out so I drew Atobe/Mizuki to commemorate the creation of fuckyeahatobemizuki.tumblr.com! I couldn't decide between a pout or Mizuki's smirk but I really like his nfu smirk (it's so part of his character) that I'd hate to see it always off his face when dealing with Atobe.
