Aria & Athea.
The calm before the storm. Something had been stirring within Aria for a few weeks now but she had successfully managed to suppress the urge to act upon the feeling. She had always had such a calm and loving temperament but as of late there had been a slight shift in her character. The emotions came in random waves, she would feel as if she had been plunged in the ocean, her lungs flooded with water, unable to breathe or resurface again. She wanted to lash out, destroy anything that was in her sight. Only a few days before her best friend who shared a dorm with her had to stop her from breaking her own wand, an act she wasn't even aware she was about to carry out.
In the fifth year she had thought that preparing for O.W.L examinations had been hard work but it was only when she entered sixth year and started attending N.E.W.T level classes did she realise just how easy she had had it before. It had been almost a week since Aria had seen her older sister, Athea. Unlike most siblings they had not been sorted into the same house which meant that in between attending classes, completing homework, extra curricular activities and not sharing the same common room they rarely had a chance to see each other, other than the few moments they briefly exchanged in the corridors.
The youngest of the King siblings checked her appearance once more in the mirror hanging in the dorm room she shared with four other girls, running her hand through her mid-length brown hair as she turned on her heels and headed to the door. Within the next fifteen minutes she had made it from the Slytherin Dungeon to the Great Hall, standing outside with her arms crossed as she attempted to calm the feeling that had plagued her for weeks, her eyes scanning her surroundings for Athea.
