If I copy Atemsis, All-Seeing's lose the game trigger with strionic resonator, can I make two players lose the game?
This doesn’t work.
Atemsis’s triggered ability doesn’t target anything. It just causes the opponent that Atemsis damaged to lose the game. The only thing that copying the trigger will accomplish is to protect you from Stifle effects or instant-speed discard.
I have an Atemsis, All-Seeing deck whose primary wincon is resolving an Azor’s Gateway. I try to twiddlestorm and transform it as quickly as possible, before slamming big draw spells and extra turns.
I think my first thought here would be in the manabase, which admittedly you probably already thought of. Having lands (or "lands") that have a non zero mana value is probably valuable to get there quicker. Which means as many MDFC land/spells as the deck can support, as well as colorless bouncelands to get them back in hand at a crucial time.
Beyond that, since you want draw spells anyway and you're leaning into it, this is probably more efficient than most big draw spells at instant speed.
But also since you're drawing a ton of cards and making a ton of mana anyway, how about...
Getting back anything to hand is NOT an effect you normally get in blue. Now, Recall is far from efficient, but if you're just missing the one mana value you can cast it for one, and if you already flipped your gateway, well, you get to have fun! Plus, a way to recurr the gateway if it gets destroyed.
My Atemsis deck is beaten by another Atemsis deck.Â
