Tropical Storm Harvey is moving back shore soon. Current motion is NE at 6kts. Max sustained winds are 45 kts with gusts to 50 kts. Once coming ashore expect the storm to slowly increase forward speed and begin weakening as it slides off to the northeast and becomes absorbed into the trough digging in to the Midwest. what else are vacations for? i always used to spend my one month of vacation from school and swimming hectically doing all the stuff i didn’t have time for usually because of, well, swimming. but the first two weeks of summer vacation was always spent at the nationals - 10 hours a day in a hot stadium full of chlorine and sweating bodies is not what most people would think of as a nice way to spend your vacation, but i loved it.
