OPEN STARTER location ; the docks
Asvari marvelled in the fog that seemed to lay over the Destarin docks, at the different species that passed him by as he sat on the street, munching on some nice bread. He'd made it so he looked disheveled and poor, his clothes torn, his hair out of place, cracked mud on his sandalled feet. As if he hadn't just come off of a boat dressed like a prince, as if he hadn't lied his way through the crossing and pretended to be someone he was not. Then disappeared before anyone could realise the gold he'd placed in their pockets were mere copper.
And now, his food gone and the ship he'd come on with it, he stood and let the illusion fall off of him like water. He was exhausted. He'd kept it up for several days, not a new feat at all, but it was too many small illusions all together, things to keep track off, his mind had trouble getting all his information straight.
Then he shot through the crowd to look for the first individual who seemed at home on these streets, falling in step beside them. "Greetings, apologies, I'm new to town, and you personally seem like someone who has been here for a while already. I do not wish to intrude, but could you perhaps point a stranger like me in the direction of a place with food and perhaps a bed to hire?"
