I'm finally home from Thanksgiving with the family so that means a quiet weekend in putting the Christmas decorations up before I go back to work on monday unless anyone has a better idea.

Greetings, fellow students. My name is Keanu Pelekai, and I'm your next student council president. Some of you may not know me too well, which is something I’m seeking to rectify. The truth is that I haven’t spent much time socializing because I've devoted the whole of my time and energy at ASU towards being a strong member of the student council, an active part of the journalism club, and the future valedictorian. What that means as far as whether or not I’d make a great president is that I am not only acutely aware of the goings on at this school, but my intelligence and discipline are exactly what we all need to help usher in the next great era of this university, and of all the many things I can promise, sole focus on the betterment of this school is number one. I could go on and on about knowing I have what it takes, but I'm far more interested in hearing what you think, so please, let's make this a two-sided conversation; what qualities are you all looking for in your future student council president? And what questions can I answer to assure you that you'll be voting correctly if you vote Pelekai?

I know it’s way too early to start watching Christmas movies but I don’t care! So if you have a favorite winter holiday movie, tell me, because otherwise I’m at serious risk of just rewatching Shrek the Halls until the new year.

Emergency! Someone in my adult kickball league has been suffering shin splits for the last couple of practices and they're going to have to sit out the next game, so we need somebody to sub in, stat! If you're at all athletically inclined -- or, to be honest, just good at kicking balls and mildly jogging from one base to another -- please reply because I'd hate for us to have to drop out this season. Does anyone know how to get your TikTok to stop showing you videos you’re not interested in? I swear, for the last week, all I’ve gotten are different dudes dressed in nurse costumes and doing cutesy dances, and no matter what I do, I keep getting more! I know I talk about nursing a lot and my phone spies on me but that’s my major, what am I supposed to do?!
