MOON SIGNS// SELF ESTEEM SURVEY PART 1
Just remember that if you’re super confident and your sign is depicted as insecure that doesn’t mean anything, this was just a fun little study and I only took 10 people to represent each sign so the sample size may not depict something accurate for the entire earth . 💓💓💓
First charts I have done are for general confidence so this post is just about confidence that covers all those factors, so in general which moon signs are more insecure with who they are and more confident?
First, Here was my hypothesis.
As you can see, I expected earth moons to be more insecure (as they are all always described as very perfectionistic and hard on themselves. As well as concerned with their “image”) Especially Virgo. Virgo moon is to me going to be the most insecure moon sign because they are their own harshest critic when it comes to every aspect of confidence.) a close second is water moons, Pisces and cancer especially being more unsure of themselves, Scorpio is a little higher (I think scorpios self esteem definitly fluctuates from extremes though.) most confident is Aquarius, I find that Aquarius moons can almost be described as having god complexes so I thought it was safe to put them at the top, but for elements I think fire in general is definitly more confident so I put Leo as a very close second to Aquarius (I think they’re almost just as confident however there may be less confidence in their looks sometimes because they are so obsessed with how they look they may pick apart everything to do with themselves as well as be heavily influenced by others negative comments about how they look. and sag and Aries a little bit below that but still high. Libra was difficult. I know they’re hyper focused on beauty but I don’t know if it tends to be a more confident focus on their own beauty or a negative one. I put air signs as second to fire so somewhere in the middle. Now for the actual data! Drum roll please...
okay so some things expected... some things huge shockers. from most to least generally confident we got Leo, Taurus/sag, Scorpio, Gemini/libra/cancer, Aquarius/Aries, Capricorn, Virgo, then Pisces for last.
Though it’s not Aquarius, I did put leo as a close second and am not at all shocked that they got most confident. They are known for having a very positive attitude towards themselves and probably see themselves in the best light. HOWEVER Taurus for second most confident??? Extremely shocked. I do just see earth moons as more insecure and I find it interesting that Taurus moons were actually one of the most confident ones. Maybe this is due to just a chill attitude that they excude so therefore they seem themselves in a good light because they’re not as hyper critical as the Virgo and Capricorn moon? I have no idea honestly but very interesting. Sag moon being second I’m not much surprised about again, fire moons tend to have an air of true confidence, scorpio being third was a bit weird but I feel like they have either intense confidence or intense insecurity so it was hard for me to guess where they’d land. Gemini and libra are right kinda where I put them but I thought for sure cancer would be less in the middle and more in the lower categories, lol I’m a cancer moon perhaps that’s my own bias shining through there. Aquarius and Aries being that low is just.... wow. Very shocking. I wasn’t sure about physical appearance but I thought for sure that Aquarius moons would be EXTREMELY confident about their intelligence and likeableness and that would exude and show through but apparently not. And the fact that and earth sign and two water signs (signs I expected to be definitly in the more insecure side) surpass Aquarius is equally as shocking. Also Aries I assumed would not be above Leo or Aquarius but still near the top because Aries is very self centred and firey. Now Capricorn almost at the most insecure is not shocking to me, Capricorn is very image conscious and has to make sure everything about them is perfect and that headspace ought to make someone super self conscious.... which is obviously true. Virgo has the same kinda mentality except even more extreme, so they are near the bottom of course. I thought they’d be completely dead last but they are just a close second so I was close lol. Pisces being last I didn’t fully expect, I did expect it being a water sign to be on the more insecure side but I thought that it would be slightly above Capricorn and Virgo because it is more of a sign that Cares less about image I feel like, but clearly Pisces moons in this study were the most insecure.
