Charlotte named Georgia. They decided on the twins’ names together. Emmett was named after his grandfather (middle name) and wanted to continue that with his kids. Georgia’s middle name is Amélie, which was Emmett’s decision, after Char’s mom. Lucy and Liam share middle names with their grandparents as well- Eleanor after Lena and Taylor after Char’s dad.

Baby C will be named after Char’s mom as well.

3. Who struggles the most with telling their kids ‘no’?

It depends on the situation. Most of the time, it’s Em. If the kids want to watch one more episode of a show before going to bed, Em is more likely to agree. If they want breakfast for dinner, Emmett isn’t going to say no, which is how they ended up with breakfast for dinner day once a month.

Char has a tendency to spoil the kids. She makes it her mission to get them everything on their Christmas lists - within reason. She’s also the one who will agree to a candy bar in the grocery store checkout line - as long as they give her a bite of it.

8. Who gets the most emotional on birthdays?

Char, definitely. Birthdays are bittersweet for in a lot of ways. She’s happy and excited to see her kids grow up, but spends a lot of time thinking about the past and about her own parents. Georgia’s 12th birthday was especially hard for her because she made the realization that she’s been a parent longer than she had her parents.
