         Belphegor couldn’t believe this girl. He was visibly annoyed, having tried to save both his own pride as well as her own (although that part wasn’t actually on his agenda: it just so happened to be a bonus for the brunette), but utterly failing because of this idiot’s lack of intelligence. Clicking his tongue, the assassin placed his hands on his hips, sneering down at the younger.

My muse will grow cat ears and a tail and adopt the mannerisms of a cat/kitten for the entirety of a thread!

Neo was so tired even if it felt like she had slept all day. Curled up on Hiyori’s couch, she peeked up at her new friend. 

“Hiyori, will you come here?” She mewled, raising a hand to scratch at her pink kitten ear. “Please?” Neo waited, and waited. Finally, Hiyori came over, and Neo placed her head on the other’s lap. It felt nice to be this close to someone. Neo felt completely comfortable in this situation. Hiyori was warm, and safe, and it was so much nicer than running around and trying to steal from people. 

Nudging her head against her hands, Neo felt herself beginning to purr slightly. She never wanted to give it up. 

He was shocked when he saw her, shocked and confused...slight happy. A mess of emotions really. Taking a deep breath, he calmed himself. He knew he needed to keep his emotions as in check as he possibly could. Though he was far away from Veena...as she had been no where to be found in this strange place...he still didn’t want to risk possibly stinging her at all. 

Still, seeing a familiar face was rather relieving to him. So far while being here, Kazuma had yet to see anyone he was familiar with, however, seeing Hiyori had definitely made things better...or strange? 

He realized he had no idea how either of them could’ve gotten here. He had assumed he had been sent here...and now he wasn’t so sure. If he had been sent here, why was Hiyori here? What reason would she have to be sent here? It was all very curious...

Yubari wasn’t nearly as large as some cities Hakuryuu had been in, but he definitely wasn’t used to the loud noises the area produced.  He’d been spooked by the cars, but quickly learned to ignore them -- he only half understood their function -- it was definitely the smaller things this town contained that boggled his mind.

He was told to get a ‘debit card’ at a ‘bank’.  He at least understood the bank part, but the small plastic card he had received in the mail was beyond his understanding.  His landlord dismissed his concerned and told him to got to an ‘ATM’, whatever that was.  After wandering Yubari for some time, he eventually came across one.  It didn’t take him long to realize he wasn’t going to figure this out on his own.  Turning around, Hakuryuu scanned the sidewalk for someone who didn’t seem too busy.  He eventually flagged down a girl that appeared to around his age, offering her a sheepish smile.

                          ’   OIII, HIYORI---!!!  ’

          without any regard to the public that surrounded the pair, he all but plopped himself down onto the cool tiles of the clothes store, making an annoyed sound at the back of his throat while doing so. the numerous bags he carried, all containing an assortment of purchased goods, came down with him, their contents spilling out onto the floor as a result. they must’ve walked several miles now, because his feet were aching like hell. he puffed his cheeks out, releasing the air in a loud whoosh. 

As if this place couldn’t get any weirder.

“Excuse me.”

Kuvira taps the shoulder of a young woman sitting on the park bench. Forest green eyes flicker to the odd thing waddling just a few feet from them, inquisitiveness winning over the trepidation of asking a complete stranger something that might make her look like a complete fool.
