💐Create a bouquet for them! what do those flowers mean? are any of the flowers their particular favourite?
[Neve quirks a soft smile to herself, before regaining her composure. She seems to like the premise of this ask quite a lot.]
The body of the bouquet would certainly be Bantons. I'm aware they aren't commercially available, and I unfortunately don't have any images of them on my cellular device at present, but I shall do my best to explain: they are an iridescent flower with a soft luminescence. They have 5 petals and an alternating leaf patterning down the spine. The pigmentation of the flower itself is blue. I've only seen it on one planet, but it's... a personally significant flower, I suppose. [she grins bashfully, before letting out a focused rush of air]. Unfortunately, due to this flower's obscurity, I don't believe it has any well-known meanings, but my compatriots have always seemed to associate it with love and beauty despite harsh circumstances.
I would then pair it with some flowers from my homeworld. The flora there has black stems, which I believe would pair well with the light provided by the Bantons. ...Perhaps some stainedshades. They're quite geometric little things, partially translucent, and often found in the twilight that marks the end of the Li-... [she trails off, frowning at the foreign nature of her tongue] ...the perpetual sunset that exists around the planet. The star never moves in the sky, see, so it's always quite dim, and the proximity to the icebergs that reign over the dark side of the planet leaves the area damper than most of the rest of the planet. Stainedshades had connotations with death, both in the literal sense and in the transformative sense, and I believe both fit me well for... reasons I assume you are familiar with. The Nova isn''t exactly strangers to the concept of transformative death and death itself.
As a final flower, perhaps this is a bit cliché, but I would choose Frozes. I've always liked the color blue and I work quite closely with ice, so having both tied into one flower seems fitting. Furthermore, roses as a whole often denote passion and love, and I believe those who know me can attest to my tendency to give everything my all, regardless of the personal sacrifice it may be to me.
