♕ - What are 5 writing tips you’d give to beginners?

Portray your character the way you think they should be, within reason, not how everyone else thinks the character should

Don’t rush replies! Or at least don’t do it all the time, it’s best to write it to your liking then speed everything up to just finish the reply.

Be creative with starters and think outside the box. Make use of the plot of the city or event. Change it up a little.

I’d definitely recommend reading some brief info or application if you don’t know who the character is or what they act like

Have fun! Don’t every feel bad about writing or feel like you’re not good enough to rp with someone!

Muse and Mun

÷ - for something I like about my muse  

I love that Clint is accepting. He has an open mind and a relaxing attitude and its very easy for him to accept things that are different. Such as coming out to him, or meeting someone that isn’t human or at all familiar, finding someone/something that exists in a completely different universe or time-frame. Things that would seem super complex and difficult to grasp - and he just accepts it. He accepts who you are as long as your happy with yourself, he accepts what you are and where your from - theres a lack of judgment unless the thing in question is troubling and hurting others.

÷ - something my muse would like about me

  "Hallo. You wouldn't happen to know a good shop to buy some Yokan?" After all, thanks to madam prime minister of new jior, he started love the sweet taste of the jelly beams way too much. But would any other Yokan be as tasty as Shoko's? Such a disturbing question to solve.

This could go on forever, because Zura is just permanently peeved.

(almost!) Sengoku Basara

Mori Motonari. He’s such an asshole, but he’s an asshole with an incredible hat, a hula-hoop weapon,  grandiose schemes, and an entertaining god complex.

Okay, I’ll also fess up I was partial to the Mori before I even watched Sengoku Basara. Mori Motonari’s grandson lost most of his lands, and the clan was reduced to a small domain called Choshu. A lot of my favourite 19th century heroes are Choshu samurai/Mori retainers: including Katsura Kogoro, the real-life inspiration for Katsura Kotarou, my muse here.

Battle intro:

Fight me, witch! I can handle anything you throw my way!

Victory:

Was it truly a surprise? As a troll, my STRENGTH is unparalleled.

Defeat:

How could I lose to someone like you?

Assist:

Step aside and allow me to take care of it.

Taunt:

Is that all you can do? I've taken harder hits from wigglers.

Reacting to Taunt:

Damn you! … O-oh dear, pardon my language…

Tie:

Hmph. You are lucky that today I am not as strong as usual.

Perfect Victory:

For a few moments, Samejima’s able to hold himself relatively fine, assuming a blank look and cleaning himself of any thoughts. It’s better not feeling anything than being reminded of his failed self, right?

But then, he looks at the Book of Man, the compilation of everything he’s ever stood for and considered manly, and starts another crying attack. How could he disappoint himself this hard? How could he fall this hard? (Literally. How do you think he got out of that roof?)

He cried so much that the tears were threatening to burst the dojo’s doors open. I feel so sorry for whoever’s the target of his oncoming blues attack (except not).
