My work is gonna pay for me to attend the ASTCT conference in February!!! I’ve never attended a national conference, I am so excited! The only downside is that it is entirely virtual - so I don’t get to travel anywhere, but I get that whole week off and paid for!Â
The ASTCT is the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy - aka stem cell transplants and all sorts of therapies dedicated to cancer, bone marrow failures, auto immune diseases, etc. Car-T therapy!!!
Needless to say, I feel very blessed. I get to make questions for the BMTCN in January, teach students January through June, attend the ASTCT in February, and here is hoping COVID disappears and I get to attend comic con in September! 2021, I am tentatively hoping for a better year. 2020, you have been - you have been.
