Their eyes are coloured like gemstones, their teeth like pearls. It's a facade. It's all a facade, for their heart is rusted and gone.

Maybe one day, rest will come. Until then, I fight for my survival.

I find myself consumed by the all-encompassing dread. It creeps up my spine like ivy, spreading deep into my tissue until I will never be alone again.

I'm packing up my past and packaging my future. There is somewhere meant for me; not here, though. I need to find that place.
