I have a Renkyotto request... I'd love to see your take on Kyo being touch-starved and then Ren comes along and has no concept of personal space. Lots of small touches and what not. Just Kyo's reaction to it (and slowly getting comfortable to the point of reciprocating if you wanna go that far)
First off, congrats on being my first ask! Now…
TOUCH-STARVED KYO WITH A VERY AFFECTIONATE REN
Growing up in hospitals due to his poor health, Kyo was always treated like he was going to break if anyone was to even poke him gently.
The only form of physical contact he had before he got Isekaied was the doctors hooking him up to equipment or giving him medication.
So yeah, our boy is touch-starved as fuck. But it’s not like he’s going to go asking for it anytime soon.
Enter Ren.
Our local alien is still getting used to human customs, but he has learned a lot about hugs, cuddling, and all forms of affection as a way to distance himself from his former life.
And Kyo just. Happens to be the perfect size for giving little pats on the shoulder and nuzzles when they’re both sitting down.
At first Kyo reacts like how you expect a cat to react: with great shock and yelling.
I’d wager Ren’s gotten a couple of smacks from him when he went in for a hug or pat.
After a bit though Kyo stops hitting him and just kinda sits there very disgruntled as Ren holds him while they watch a horror movie of sorts.
However Kyo currently would rather die than say that he actually… kinda likes being held by Ren.
Ren doesn’t treat him like something so delicate. Well, the rest of Iluna don’t treat him like that either but Ren is… different.
At this point Kyo is more bark than bite when Ren nuzzles him or puts a hand on his shoulder.
Ren knows that Kyo doesn’t mean it when he get snappy at him when they hug.
And Ren won’t tell a soul when he notices one night while on the couch with him Kyo leaning against his shoulder, arms loosely wrapped around his, sleeping peacefully.
Ren leaned in shortly afterwards, and soon he fell asleep as well.
Not a soul knows of that tender moment… except the rest of Iluna who found them asleep like that the next morning.
