//Stay together too long means death is a possible outcome for one or both of them. The fact that they can even fuse for any amount of time with pure determination alone is remarkable. With Jodie being intolerant to heat, Brutes own tolerance goes down as well as they are in a constant, rapidly over heating and cooling down state causing a lot strain on its body and intense pain as well. If they could successfully control their fusion, being able to wield the power of both their elements, it would be a devastating force.. and if their sheer size alone wasn’t scary enough.

Shit, shit, shit. He had only looked away for a second, had gotten distracted by that weird, dancing luma mascot, and once he had looked back, his fluffy friend had vanished on him. Or maybe he himself had wandered off. He wasn’t standing in the same place as before. Fuck.
“Jodie?! Heeeey! Jooooooodieeeee!!! Holler if ya hear me!!” Grubba nervously called out through the thick crowd, looking side to side for any sign of the werewolf-turned Frost Dino Piranha. “Aw, man...” The redhead paused in his pacing and awkwardly scratched the back of his neck, eyebrows furrowed in worry. She was NOT going to be happy when he found her again... she had already seemed annoyed enough about the cute ribbon he had tied around her furry neck before they had departed for the festival. “Uhh... If I was a woofer fer two weeks, where would I run if I got separated from my best friend in a festival? Uhhhh.... err....” Grubba resumed walking, trying to look between people and booths for any slightest hint of a fluffy tail-- wait, there!!
“JO, THERE YA ARE!!” The ginger launched himself at Jodie, wrapping his arms around her fluffy neck and burying his face in her fur. “Yeesh, I’ve been lookin’ all over for ya, fella! Ya ran off faster than a bandit after an 100-coin haul!! Heck, darlin’, I thought ya went home!!” Pulling himself away from her fur for a second, Grubba quickly scanned her over. “Well, I guess ya look perfectly fine. Hey, ya’ll even kept th’ ribbon I got for ya nice ‘nd shiny! Heh, looks like we’re stiiiiill matchies!!” He tilted his head, grinning. “Man, what made ya run off so fast, huh? Didja see a game ya wanted t’ play? Heck, now that I mentioned it, we oughta play some games, live it up a lil’! Whaddaya say, huh?”
