[â]-- She couldâve sworn it was there when she woke up this morning.
Even if by all means, logic and senses, it shouldnât.
Then again, she was never really by... normal standards. At least, normal standards of humans. But even then, that still sounded just... absurd, honestly. And beyond reach, especially the reach of a little child.
Was she slowly blurring the thin line between DREAM and REALITY?
Was that magic that basically flowed with the air in the Underground mingling with her dreams? That could be very... very... interesting volatile.
Madotsuki couldnât have missed that. She was positive that when she woke up earlier today, she was with her Neon Effect on. She did remember dreaming of using the Effect to shine some colors in Masadaâs colorless spaceship, right before waking up. However, it was gone before she could take further actions about it. Her Effects are part of her lucid, vivid dreams, they couldnât be in the real world.
That wasnât something she could just brush off.
So, she told her father and uncle sheâd go out play with the monster children of Snowdin... not exactly true. She was still in Snowdin, but went off to a quieter, less populated area, among the trees of Snowdin Forest, not very far from the Ruins door, actually. ... she felt like she overstepped a boundary somewhere along the way, thatâs the feeling she gets when she... ends up in another timeline. ... nah, she just havenât been in this part of Snowdin very much. Right? Hopefully nobody would see what sheâs doing there.
Sheâs trying to do it again.
Sheâs trying to summon one of her Effects again. An easier one this time, such as the Umbrella or Flute Effect... But how the heck did she even do it in the first place, again?
Her little pink SOUL flickered in her chest like a small lamp, as if it was trying to accomplish what she was trying to do. But right when she felt like she was very close to have it work... there was loud rustling sounds from among the trees, pretty closely.
Madotsuki lost her focus entirely, every signal of what she was trying to do, no matter how small, disappeared. She wasnât sure if it was safe to let anyone aware of this yet, so she was a little... tense.
   âAh... whoâs there...?â
