1- Expedition Academy Shenanigans: wip, series, gen, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
It's extremely silly. I couldn't have written anything sillier (actually, the Air Vent Series for Ace Attorney is... probably sillier). It's technically a series but as I keep writing, it turns into a sort of semi-coherent work. Now there's backstories and new characters and I'm developing the 33 as a whole and building on the world and I can tell this is sadly becoming bigger than intended. I mean, I say 'sadly' as if I wasn't having a blast with this writing frenzy. I haven't had a writing frenzy like this one in years and it feels so niceeeee.
Plot: what happens when you put the weirdest kids (30-somethings and One Teenager) all in one place and train them for a death mission.
2- Blue Hours: finished, multichapter, miego, Ace Attorney
Or, as I like to call it, the synesthesia fic. I'd put Begin Again with it because that's the sequel and it's written in the same experimental style I wanted to try out and enjoyed. I don't think I've ever agonized over words and rhythm more than for this fic.
Plot: it's a Miego Lives AU! They get to suffer a bit more before they find their footing in life again! It's quite nice.
3-Thicker Than Blood, finished, multichapter, gen, Silva siblings, Black Clover - Arkham Horror AU
trying to find my favorite BC fic I've written and failing because I love a lot of those works and I've got a hundred fics to choose from now? Sooo I'm going with Thicker Than Blood.
This one was suchhhh a fun fic to write. An Arkham Horror AU because why not after all. Silva siblings because it's me. Most of it was written with a kitten on my lap preventing me to move and thus forcing me to keep adding stuff, keep writing, provide descriptions, which I despise (aka why I'm not objective when it comes to this fic: it's associated with the time I took in flau).
Plot: Noelle comes home. Everyone's a mess. Something strange happens in Arkham (shockingly). The siblings have to work together. Confront the dark past of their family. Etc, etc.
4- what even is football anyway, one-shot, gen, Ao Ashi
I often put this one here because fhdsjfjdshk I love Ao Ashi and how it doesn't solely focus on sport but also on everything around it: the financial cost of a dream, family support, mental state... And this fic is about that love and family support. Featuring the incredibly human and realistic mom and legend that is Noriko Aoi.
5- Schism, one-shot, gen, Cat's Eyes (2024 live action)
I watched the French 2024 live action loosely adapting Cat's Eye thinking 'it's French, it's gonna be terrible, it's going to destroy this work I love so much, and it's completely fine! I will watch it for fun and to get a laugh' and then I actually had a... good time?. It's not a 1/1 adaptation, it's an AU on the premise of 'What if the Kisugi sisters were French' fhdjkhsd. The Chamade sisters are sooo interesting. And Sylia breaks my heart every time. So, of course, I wrote about her.
