This day could have gone better.
Tessa panted heavily as she hid around a corner, clutching a large gash in her leg and biting her lip as she tried to stay silent of the red coat guards looking around nearby. While protecting a man that was being beaten out of his house by the tax collectors, the soldiers came by and caught her in the act. When she tried to escape, one snagged her on the leg with his rapier and soon after even her arm. Her arm she could live with, but her leg was keeping her from running properly...
Tessa glanced around the corner before she limped away as quick as she could, trying to stay away from the main roads. She had to get out of the city as fast as possible, and before she lost too much blood...

The dizziness had stopped as suddenly as it had started. One minute ago, everything was swirling into a myriad of colours around her and she herself seemed to be spinning with it. Now, everything seemed to have settled, and Joanna, her eyes still squeezed shut, held on to whatever she had grabbed earlier for support. Slowly, her senses returned to her and she was aware of the chattering that suddenly filled her ears.
Her eyes slowly opening, Joanna was aware of the buildings around her. How tiny everyone looked on the floor below, she thought, amused. But why was she so high up?
"Oh," she muttered, realizing that she was gripping the giant cross on the church's rooftop. She looked around again, suddenly realizing that none of the buildings looked familiar to her. And everyone was dressed so strangely. Fishing out the cell phone from her pocket, Joanna realized in horror that there was no service available.
"Where am I?" She thought, panicking. Looking down on the ground again, Joanna began to climb down from the church, sighing as she knew she was going to ask for directions. In her haste, she jumped off, accidentally crashing into the person walking by.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" She cried as she helped him up.

Subconsciously, Ziio was somewhat aware of the ongoings around her. She tried to will herself to awaken especially after hearing the desperation in Haytham’s voice, though it was possible that her mind was playing tricked in her in it’s current state. She could hear the sounds of her tribe which confuse her even more. What seemed like hours, but was more like minutes, passed until her body had rested enough. She slowly opened her eyes, her vision blurry and foggy. Her head was swimming but she could hear Haytham’s voice. She hearing him before her eyes focused enough for him to see her. She looked at him, her fingers curling around his as his hand laid in her hand. “Haytham…?” She questioned still a bit out of it. “What happened?” She asked not really remembering what had happened though a dull pain throbbed signifying that something big had happened.
